  1. I've had this black plastic cup holder on my bike for quite awhile. I really like it. http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users16/marinerfan/default/pegs-003--large-msg-121968102711.jpg
  2. Mike, Just don't pitch that tent too close to the pond. There is a monster there that will get you if you are unaware.....I tell you this so that you know the dangers of camping too close to the pond. I'm not kidding...it's a real problem.....
  3. Lonna is the best. Brad...........well ya, he's pretty cool as well.
  4. I'm staying at the Oberlin Inn. See y'all at the bar downstairs!
  5. I throw a couple of towels in the trunk and head to the car wash. Just hose it off and dry. No problems with the speakers getting wet. The trouble I had at home was that the water leaves spots all over the bike no matter how fast I dried it off. The car wash has spot free rinse so that is what I use.
  6. Wow, another one! Sent you a PM Mike. Bob
  7. I'd go for sure! Thanks for all the pictures.
  8. I do use my rear brakes to scrub off speed in corners. Just surprised they will wear out so fast.
  9. Boy, that looks like fun!
  10. Why would the rear pads go out so fast?
  11. Alfonso, I will have to look around but I think I still have my stock bar. Perhaps someone here that lives close to you has one. You can have mine for the cost of shipping it to you (If I can find it!) Bob
  12. Are you looking for the stock bar or are you thinking of putting passing lights on the bike?
  13. That reminds me of the famous "Moe" burger.
  14. Would that work for a V4?
  15. Just checked and the gas cap screws are tight. Thanks for the heads up.
  16. That's cool. I'd like to see more folks from Washington post on here.
  17. Heck Reiny, Alot of folks here ride Goldwings and Harley Ultra's. I personally like the diversity. Keep on posting here brother!
  18. I'm ranked #7.
  19. Just an update. Information is kinda spotty because the hospital isn't talking much. Robin's legs were crushed in the accident and there is a real possibility that they will have to amputate them both. He is still critical and we aren't sure if he will survive. Apparently, the internal injuries were severe as well. I wish I could give better details but as soon as I know, I'll pass it on.
  20. I actually know the father as well. I was his supervisor back when I was with Alcoa. I'll probably know tomorrow how extensive Robin's injuries are. He's going to need a lot of support from his family to deal with this. Probably some counseling as well since he's the kind of guy who will blame himself for this, even though it's not his fault.
  21. I just got a call about this. The guy who was riding the motorcycle is a friend of mine and we were co-workers for many years. It will be awhile before I find out his condition but his grand-daughter was killed. I've always felt that these kind of postings had the benefit of keeping all of us on our toes to watch out for the cars out there. Never thought I'd be one of those guys making the post. Be careful out there my friends.... Bob http://www.krem.com/topstories/stories/krem2-051109-crash-victim-father.177ad9e2.html
  22. I just got home from a trip. I traveled from Tucson Arizona to Springfield Oregon. Along the way I saw this and was so impressed I took a picture with my cell phone. This was in Stockton California. http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users16/marinerfan/default/gallery-msg-124207116126.jpg
  23. My 07 doesn't have the chirp. The whine is a normal transmission noise.
