  1. No way Josh!! Perfectly good and legit target. I cranked up Google Maps looking for a Venture Ave or St or something.... no luck around here. Give it a week to see if someone posts something. If not, that gives you a week to think of a new one, but I'm sure someone will get this one.
  2. Where else ..... Wally World!!! But I figured the next question was how much (about $50) so I just looked online and it doesn't look like they do it any more. But ask in the photo center maybe they still do... Google'd "photo towels" and found them for $30 ... do a search save some
  3. Check out what the wife had done .....from a photo to a towel.
  4. Just to add my 2 cents worth..... actually only 1.84536 US I had a gas cap fall into two pieces on me, off course right after I had filled the tank. The local gouger (Baldwin Cycle Dunnville) quoted me $160 for the part. This was on my 04 VStar. Gas sloshing about, can't ride the dam thing, so I said ok order it. I get home and thinking $160 was dam expensive for a locking gas cap I phone a few more dealerships, Claires in Fonthill ($140) and then Kelly's in Hamilton ($124). Quickly cancel the order with Baldwins (not without a few choice words) and reorder with Kelly's. Upon asking why a difference Kellys showed me the dealers book with the $124 price. When I contacted Yamaha Canada about this their response was: "Each dealership is privately owned and although they suggest the price to sell their parts at it is up to the dealer to charge whatever he wants" What kinda s**t is that? Don't get me wrong, love the bikes, hate the company.
  5. Well done Josh!! Welcome aboard the "Hunt" and please pick the next target. Sorry it took awhile to reply, hard to salute and type at the same time. AGAIN....WELL DONE... I was hoping for your average chinese food restaurant dragon, not the SACRED one!!
  6. I'm not sure if I should change the target again, or wait?! I'm tempted to pick - you, your bike and a grey cloud or "dried up corn stalk" just to move it on. Lots of them around lately. Too many of the first. I'd really hate to do the "insurance cost vs number of days ridden" math this year. Its been brutal. Now it looks like winter is coming soon too, so off to the storage soon At least I got my one target, before Sta-Bil days arrive.
  7. Well done Dave.... Pulitzer on the way?
  8. If you didn't want to participate in that target, for WHATEVER your reasons, thats cool. I MEANT it was tough to talk someone else into posing for you, not too sure how YOU took it. It was posted as .... "in the spirit of lets have a laugh". Obviously it was meant as a joke, the guy "posing" would of been in on the joke, and MOST of us would of had a laugh and realized it was a joke. But it does seem you care more what HDRIDERS.org have to say that venturerider.org so you probably made the right call. Thanks for the interest. dunvilsteev
  9. If you are in the process of getting the original pic with Harley dude, that is still okay. For a second target, in honour of my heritage: You, your bike and a dragon. Picture, statue or drawing is okay. Hope that is cool.
  10. Hmmmm. not much response. Must be too tough for y'all. I'm surprised, had a buddy volunteer for me. I'll give it another couple of days, maybe you're all too stuffed with turkey to get the chaps on..... Just wondering, how long after a "stump" until the check arrives? And how much is it exactly?
  11. I think its gonna take something.... I can just see it now: "C,mon bud, just one pic!" "This is gonna cost you!"
  12. Now, in the spirit of "let's have a laugh" I would like to see the following picture: You, and your bike in front of the local Harley dealership... oh yeah, AND.... a big Harley dude a) in the beetch seat b) or cleaning your bike c) or paying some sort of homage to the mighty Yammie! Have fun, and I can't wait for this one!
  13. My wife and kids have been there many years ago. It has many interactive activites like when you use an exercise bike it lights a bulb and one room dealt with your five senses with different samples to smell etc. Arts and crafts room too.
  14. I think I have one!! The sign has poor colours but I think you can read it if you zoom in. In front of the Hamilton Children's Museum in Hamilton, Ontario. Awaiting confirmation.... dunvilsteev
