    You're both right. My bike only had 4600 miles on it when I bought it in August of 08. I put 4000 more on her before winter. Last year I had work issues and didn't get out as much as I wanted. But, this year we're going a LOT more, 2 days after we get back from Dennis' Kentucky ride we leave for 9 days with Moose, looking like New England area, Maintenance Day after that. I'll put almost as many miles on in June as I did all last year. So, we'll make up for it.

    Hmmmmm, My 06 has 14,900 miles on it, engine can go 250,000 or better, has plenty of chrome on her. I'm 54 and probably won't need another bike. I can always trike this one in 10-15 years. So, I'm not too worried........

    The same here 5k or a little longer. Oil always comes out looking good. Used it in my 90 and now in the 06. Usually change the filter along with the oil.

    Great news Annie, just take it easy until you get your brace right. Sue's knee is back to letting herr ride now. She was anxious to do things before she was ready but it paid off waiting. Hope it continues to go well for you.

    Sue went to a "Ladie's night" at the local Harley dealer with a friend from work a few weeks ago. There was a woman representing the Lady HOG group. They have a ride once a month so Sue was interested until someone made the woman own up to the fact that you had to own a Harley. No others are invited. Needless to say my wife was not happy at that. They also said that there weren't any other riding groups like theirs. We've proved them very wrong on that. We ride with a CMA chapter once in a while now and they have several women riders. Yep, most Harley owners around here are quite stuck up, we just go around them like they're not there.....

    No secret, it was a bag of goodies to raffle off at the rally. Very nidce of Annie to send us some tshirts, flipflops, can holders, pins, patches and just for you some "temporary" tattoos. All with Australian flag and or kangaroos on them. Sorry, Randy, no Foster's.

    Next time around give us a holler if you want some company for dinner or just company. We're only 15 minutes away from South Bend. Or you'd be more than welcome to come over. Squid's been here a few times but we're getting the carpet replaced so no problem.

    They fit into the stock covers just fine. Running them on my 06 with no problem.

    Dan, you are right, that's the usual plan. I'll know closer to that date how we're going to handle that. Sue is riding her own bike this year and I'm not sure she'll want to ride the interstate that far yet. Darrin's also bringing his motorhome, not sure if it'll keep up...... I'll post when our plans are more solid. I do know we will be leaving Friday morning as usual though.
