My family had a reunion this past weekend. Had a great time and a huge turnout! We were packing up yesterday to come home and my brother discovered the person who was going to pull his boat out of the water had left. Don offered to pull him out (he has 4 wheel drive). Hooked up the boat trailer and I backed it down in the water. We were drawing quite a crowd who had gathered to watch and laugh and comment that it was not going to happen! Got the boat on the trailer and I proceeded to pull up the very steep ramp with Don encouraging me and saying "DON'T STOP"!!! (and by the way, I was driving because he was wading in the water to help center the boat on the trailer and get it hooked up). Well, we made it!!!! This is what we looked like after all was said and done. The jeep is a mighty fine vehicle!

I hope you make it to MD Dan. Sorry we can't be there this year. Will be watching for posts / pictures!

No time like the present to start planning for the International Rally.

Hey folks...we have 73 signed up on the calendar to attend the International this year in St. Charles, MO. However, I only have a few registration forms / $$$. You can send me your registration forms now (email or slow mail (USPS) so we will have a head count for the banquet and you can let me know how many T Shirts (and what sizes) you want. We will need your money no later than July 1 if you want to do it that way. If you have any questions, post here and I or one of the committee members will try to answer. We have several new members. This is a great way to make new friends. I promise you, we are all VERY friendly and you will have a great time. I am not sure if there are any planned rides yet, but we are definitely working on it. Lots of good roads in the area. Lots of things to see and do. Shopping is also great, so bring the ladies! Of course we would like to see the ladies on their own rides...so bring your bikes and show them off!!! For you new members, we also have a banquet on the last night. Your registration money covers that. It's all you can eat until the food is gone! There is a raffle for a new trailer. Freebird has the tickets for that. Send him your money. It only takes ONE ticket to win...but the more you buy, the better your chance. You don't have to be there to win, however; we love to see the winner jump up, yell, scream, dance...well, you know what you would do if you won, right??? So let's get those registrations in, sign up on the calendar if you have not done so. We are going to have a great time!! Did I miss anything Bill? Patti

Hey folks, don't forget to get your registration forms to me! I haven't received very many yet. As soon as you know you are coming, get them to me or you will have to pay the late fee. We really need a head count for the food and if you want a t shirt. there won't be very many extra shirts.

I can't give you any more advice than what's already here. Sending prayers that you will be at peace with your decision, and Eileen too. Priorities change as you get older. Make the most of what you can now. It may not be here tomorrow. Patti

The "calendar" button is right under "Forum" above. Click on calendar. Then go to "July". Then you will see the week that is blocked for the International. Click on the first day and you can sign up there. You will have to find the thread that Freebird started for the Registration Form. You can download it, print it, mail to me...or scan it back to me. Send check or paypal me the registration money and info regarding shirts! Patti

Our weatherman says rain, freezing rain, sleet, and SNOW headed our way beginning tomorrow. Accumulation forecast: 2-4 INCHES! Again!!! Can I pray that someone kills that dang groundhog? Meanwhile, I am sending up prayers for Skid and family. Hope you all are staying warm!

just a little warmer here tonite....35 degrees...not counting wind chill. a few snowflakes in the air earlier but nothing stuck. BTW...prayers up. Thinking of you and praying for you Skid. Love ya Patti
