Well, I did it. I had my '08 RSV triked out. It's been in the shop for a week and I finally got it back this afternoon and took it for a short spin. I had the Hannigan Trike kit put on it. I think my mechanic did an amazing job on it. I'm now looking for some different rear wheels and some other chrome to add to it. Trying to attach a picture, not sure if it will work or not. I may have a slightly used shock from an '08 RSV. My dealer is removing it as we speak because they are triking my bike and won't need it. I will ask them the condition of it and let you know, which it should be ok. I have never had any trouble out of it. I bought the bike new in May '08. If you are interested, let me know. You can PM me and we can discuss a price. Don

Squidly, Lonna and Bummer: Just wanted to say that it sucks big time to lose your job, but you've gotta look at it like a new door is opening for you. It's BIG TIME SCARY, but it will work! Don and I did that about 30 yrs ago. We grew up in MI and I was so tired of the snow, we moved to TN and never regretted it. Can't say as there are any jobs on our side of the state (NW corner) but highly recommend the state as for living expenses. If you can find a job anywhere here, you will love it! The one drawback for "Yankees" may be the heat / humidity. Does take a bit to get used to....but the winters are great! Who said they speak "english" here? Sure they do...if you can figure out the accent. LOL! Warm and friendly people here tho. Hope you find something here! Good luck! And let us know when you get settled somewhere...we can come visit and try some of that cheesecake I keep hearing about! Best wishes Pat and Don:thumbsup:

sorry folks, we are not going to be able to make it. Although Pat is doing fairly well after surgery, she is not going to be able to make this trip so soon after. I have just called and canceled our reservations at Oberlin Inn, so if someone needs a room, there should be one available. I think we had a room with a king size bed. Will miss everyone and all the fun (and cheesecakes!)...but hope we can now make it to the International Rally in August. Don

Don Just wanted to let you know that Pat and I signed up for MD last year and have a reservation at the Oberlin Inn...however...Pat has to have surgery Friday and depending on the outcome and her recovery, whether we make it or not. Will let you know, but it may not be until the 1st of June before we know anything for sure. Sorry for the inconvenience. We were really looking forward to seeing you and the Mrs again. Keep your fingers crossed! Don & Pat

Thanks to you and Linda. Jason and I had a great time. Just got a call from him saying he made it home and to thank you all again for your great hospitality. It was great meeting new friends and seeing new places. Hope to see everyone at the Hub in August. Don

I got home a couple hours ago. Thanks to Bill and Linda for a great time. This was my first meet n eat (not counting MD) and hopefully not the last. Really enjoyed meeting everyone there. The forecast had not been too good, but except for one morning of rain, it turned out great. Made it all the way home without rain. Not sure that my son was so lucky. Have not heard yet if he made it home, but the weather there did not look so good. Bill and Linda have a great home and we couldn't have asked for a better host and hostess. Thanks again! Sorry, John, I did not know about your upcoming surgery. Good luck with that. Keep us posted. Don

Bill, B2dad and son will be leaving in the morning and checking into RR also. Will see you at Cracker Barrel for dinner. They are all so excited. I, on the other hand, have to work. Will have to catch you next time. I am praying they can make it up there between the rain drops too. Everyone ride safe! and have some fun too! Someone take pictures so I can see all the fun afterwards! I know everyone will have a great time there. Patti

That is really great news all around, Cindy. We are so happy for you. Keep up the faith. Sorry I won't see you at Bill's this weekend, but B2dad will be there with our son. I, unfortunately, have to work. Have a great weekend! Patti

Glad to meet you finally. It was really funny to find out we had met several years ago. You really have a nice looking bike, especially considering how much you paid to steal it...ummm...I mean buy it. Just kidding!! Can't wait to go riding...unfortunately the weather for this weekend still doesn't look good...but if it changes, I am ready. don

Don't complain about the snow, guys. It beats the ice we have had here for the last couple weeks. It's been bad...still thousands without power. We were of the lucky few who didn't lose power for any length of time. Then we had high winds (60 mph+) for a couple days, which set the line crews back. Today is the first really nice day (no ice, rain, wind) we have had in what seems like forever. AND I am stuck at work while Don (B2Dad) is out riding. At least he asked if it was ok to go without me. He is sweet about that. I am sure he will make it up to me this weekend! Midnite Cherri...nice name. Be good to her!

I would recommend Rick's seat modifications to everyone. I got mine back about a month ago and although the weather has prevented me from riding every day, I have been able to put several hundred miles on and I really love the seat. I had been thinking about getting a back rest, but I don't think I need one now. (That makes the wife really happy!!) Even my mechanic fell in love with it. Thanks again Rick, I really appreciated what you did. I think it took a little over 2 weeks to send it off and get it back. It was quick enough for me and certainly well worth the money. You couldn't do it any cheaper any where else. AND get the extra service that Rick provides...he even fixed my seat where it was starting to tear. Don (one very satisfied customer)
