I was especially pleased to see so many ladies come. I want to say thank you personally to Rita (midnite), Angie (Monty), Joyce (Carbon One), Linda (Snarley Bill), Konnie (Eck), Tracie (Slick97Spirit), Jennifer (JMC), Marilyn (KyRider), Joni (my sister in law, the Harley rider) and also to Kristin (midnite's daughter). You ladies are all FABULOUS! Thanks again for coming and keeping me company...and also for your hard work helping me set this up and cleaning up afterwards. These "meet n eats" are not JUST for the guys...us girls can have fun too! LOVED seeing all of you! Hope you come back again. Pat

I want to again thank everyone that came to my meet n eat Saturday. You all made it worth while. I also wanted to let everyone know that we raised $210 in donations for St. Jude. I spoke to Dragonrider and will be sending him a check this week. We had 26 attendees plus ourselves, so that is an awesome amount! Thanks again everyone! Pat and I are already planning a "2nd Annual meet n eat" for next year, especially since our son, Jason, PROMISED to be here for that one. And for those interested...he is doing fine over there. It was such a great turnout, better than Pat or I could have hoped for. Thank you all for coming and that's what made it a great success!!! It was good to meet new faces and welcome the ones we had already met. It was a great day that really warmed up here. Thanks for posting some pictures. Will get ours on here tomorrow. So far it's been a great time! Nice dinner last night and had fun afterwards listening to all the stories. Looks like nice weather today so we are going to have fun! Not too late for anyone to come. Will have plenty of food...and good times!

Looks good Bob. We are like KBay tho, too much junk in the trunk! However, Don is still looking for more places to put lights. It already looks like a darn UFO at night. Then I wised up and moved south. We opened our pool a couple weeks ago and hope to be able to swim in it soon. Going riding this afternoon. Really feel for you guys up there. Wife and I just couldn't handle the winters anymore. Keep the fires burning...summer will be here before you know it!

Just took my X LARGE Clearview sheld off and found a crack in it just at the bottom of the vent, so be sure to check them real good. It was about 18 months old. DON:crying:

Thanks for all the well wish's folks. Yep we've been hooked together a long while, 43 years to be exact. Boy that's over half my life. We stopped at Don's & Patty's on our way home for a short visit, ended up going out for a nice dinner, and will be spending the night. What great hosts they are. Larry on Don's puter.

Thanks to everyone who posted. It's very comforting to have so many friends thinking of you and praying for your loved ones. I know the time will pass quickly, just not quick enough for his little ones who don't quite understand what is going on. Monty: Not only didn't he have room in his plane for a bike, he didn't even have room for his own luggage!!! He had to ship it over there before he left...then found out a few hours later that he was going to a different base and his baggage was going elsewhere. He had to rush down to UPS and change the destination. Since his flight was delayed several times, the bags probably beat him there, LOLOL!!

Just got back from saying goodbye to our son, Jason. He has deployed to Afghanistan. It will take him several days to get there. He is piloting his own plane there. It was really hard saying goodbye, but on the other hand, we are so proud of him and what he does. We are proud of all our soldiers and their families and ask that you keep them all in your thoughts and prayers. Don

When Pat and I had an accident 2 years ago and totaled my '06, I said I would never put her in harm's way again and was ready to give up riding. But she wouldn't let me. She said I couldn't quit riding because of her safety. So...I bought another bike and she's still behind me. Like Mini said...don't live in fear of what MAY happen. Ride defensively. There's alot of good riding out there. We wouldn't miss it for anything. Don

Hey Bob...Pat and I really enjoyed meeting you and Becky. So very glad to hear that you made it home ok. I hate to tell you this, but Pat and I went to Paducah today and I had JUMBO frog legs for dinner...boy were they good!!! Wish you could have been here. Waiting for pics of that beautiful new trike!
