I highly recommend putting the 1 1/2" risers on. when I got the trike, it didn't have the risers on and I rode it to the International rally in 2009 at the Hub. It was really hard to steer and I believe 1 Up told me about the risers. I put them on when I got back from Vogel that year and boy did it make a difference...HUGE! No problem steering the bike now. Also, Hannigan trike kit comes with a 6 degree rake. But if you put the risers on yours, tbbrider, I think you will find a world of difference. I know I did! Don

We made our reservations at Comfort Inn, same as last year. Great service there. Will also join everyone for QS&Lube. Had a great time there also. Can't wait to see everyone and meet Aussie Annie! This is going to be a good one!! Don

Merry Christmas from the B2 family... B2dad and I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope Santa is good to you this year and wish there was a new Venture in everyone's stocking..or under your tree...wherever it fits. LOL! But mostly thank you for sharing your thoughts, prayers, problems, solutions and stories with us this past year. We have enjoyed the meets and get togethers all over this great country of ours and the friendship that has come with it. This is truly a wonderful family and we are so glad you have let us be a part of it this year. My daughter in law is a teacher and they already called off school for tomorrow. You can't believe it here in the south...a couple of snow flurries and as ScaryLarry says, people go crazy! We got a little bit today and some of the roads aren't the greatest, but they don't have any snow removal equipment and they just spread a little dirt or liquid salt on the roads. It's definitely cold tho...not really bike riding weather, for sure. Although I told my son today I was going to take the trike out and do some doughnuts in the driveway...he said to be sure and get it on video...had to take Pat to the store for groceries instead. LOL.

I don't think so...he has to go back to work this week. He had to ride it home (about 4 hrs south to Columbus, MS) yesterday and it was a cool 40 degrees when he left here. Hopefully we can go riding soon tho.

Our youngest son, Jason, showed up for Thanksgiving on his new ride... He just got home from Afghanistan and couldn't wait another day to get a new ride. I tried to get him to buy a new RSTD, but as you can see, it didn't work. He still wants a sporty model with SPEED. If only I was younger...

Glad to hear the package withstood the brown monster. I'm sure that package could even withstand King Kong!! It should last a long time. A hard freeze is predicted this weekend so probably won't get much riding in for a bit. But I can't wait to show off the new and improved trike. Haven't seen him yet, but will get to see him next week and will be giving him the biggest HUG! LOL. It will be a great Thanksgiving. ROADHAND: He is stationed at Columbus AFB, MS. Tell your son thanks for his service. For sure, they don't tell us everything! DRAGONRIDER: He is sorry he missed "our" St. Jude, but is doing a Marathon for them in Memphis in Dec. The best thing was seeing the happy faces on his sons...ages 6 & 4. Pat and Don

Just wanted to give you all an update on our son, Jason. He flew into Columbus, MS this morning. He's been in Afghanistan for the last 7 months and is home for good...or until the Air Force wants him back over there I guess. Not sure what his next assignment will be yet...but we are very thankful he is home for now. Thank you all for your support during this time. We appreciate it and hope all our military personnel make it home safe. Don and Patti

I finally broke down and ordered some diamond cut fins from Mike last week. He sent them special delivery thru a friend of his who just happened to be visiting him and lived near me. I picked them up this morning and got them put on this afternoon. I have to say I have never seen anything packed like this before. Mike has a special box that he ships them in. Each piece has it's own place in the box and there is no way for them to get damaged. Pretty neat! Aside from the box, I really like these fins. I am posting a few pics here. Thanks again Mike...I really love 'em. PS. Pat says I'm done! LOL!
