  2. Only you know best, Annie...healing is an individual thing...Pat didn't heal well after one of her surgeries and we had a cruise booked a month after (already booked and paid for)..doctor assured her she would be fine..well...she wasn't...but we made the trip and made do. Probably shouldn't have told you that..don't want to influence your decision, but maybe I have. I see you already decided to postpone it. I hope you and your doctor have agreed to this. You have to do what's best for YOU and only YOU know this. The question is...if you postpone...and if you come here to the states...is there a chance you could have some problems due to this "hole"? Do you risk serious infection? Would your insurance cover you here in the states? These are the questions you need to ask yourself before you absolutely turn down the surgery. Pat and I wish you luck and God's guidance in your search for answers. Don
  3. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in going on a little trip either Good Friday or the Saturday before Easter. This would be either April 22 or April 23. The trip is called Natchez Trace Wine Trail. It consists of 118 miles (approximately 2 hr and 15 mins) and visiting 4 different wineries in Middle Tennessee. They are Belle Meade Plantation Winery in Nashville; Keg Springs Winery in Hampshire; Amber Falls Winery and Cellars in Hampshire; and ending at Grinder's Switch Winery in Centerville. Pat and I would like to do this little "road trip" on either of these dates and wondered if anyone else would be interested. We could meet at Belle Meade and proceed from there. Let me know if anyone is interested and which date would be best for you. Don

  5. @Buddy: Will try to get some pictures and post them. @Eck: sorry about that Eck, sure didn't do it on purpose. Would have loved to stop by and seen you and Konnie. Maybe we will get to your new place sometime, if you'll have us... @Bill: will not forget to tell Jason that his biggest fans said hello. Unless something changes, he plans on being here for our meet in May. @TEW47: will jot down your # and if we get a chance, will give you a ring. Would love to meet you. @Wes: Thanks for the invite but I think we have things covered...however, you never know and will keep you in mind! Thanks again. @Saltcreep and Buckshot: Thanks for the well wishes and weather report. We are counting on the good weather. Tired of the rain here. Ready for some sunshine and warmer weather. Just hoping the rear ends hold up to the riding. Hadn't had much time to break them in yet this year...LOL! Don and Patti:fingers-crossed-emo

    Trike inf

I highly recommend putting the 1 1/2" risers on. when I got the trike, it didn't have the risers on and I rode it to the International rally in 2009 at the Hub. It was really hard to steer and I believe 1 Up told me about the risers. I put them on when I got back from Vogel that year and boy did it make a difference...HUGE! No problem steering the bike now. Also, Hannigan trike kit comes with a 6 degree rake. But if you put the risers on yours, tbbrider, I think you will find a world of difference. I know I did! Don
