  5. Hope you are having a great day
  6. Please tell Patti that Don and I are so sorry for her loss. We remember meeting him at the Hub a few years ago. He was a great guy. Sending prayers to you Don and Patti
  7. Don spoke to Patti today at Diamond R Accessories. She asked us to let you all know that her father passed away yesterday. Some of you may have met him at the Intl Rally at the Hub 3 years ago. She was there with him. she also wanted you all to know that orders might be going out kind of slow for a week or so while they work thru this tough time. Please keep her and Allen in your prayers.
  8. Happy Birthday Gil! Hope you have a great day. :Happy Birthday:

  10. We've had ours for 3 yrs now and wouldn't trade it for any other. Hannigan may be a little more expensive but it's the Cadillac of conversions. The main factory is about 30 minutes from us. Come visit, talk to them. They love to show prospective customers around. Find out how it's all done. Would be glad to show you around. Patti
  11. No thanks needed :big-grin-emoticon:

    Do you...

Yes, I (and Don) know about the options...faster / quicker routes, avoiding unpaved roads (which never works), etc... Yes, we consult the maps and smart phones...but when it comes down to it...and you are riding thru a large metro city and you have several highways intersecting...and you can't remember which one you wanted...(old people have CRS)..and the SIGNS aren't showing exactly the right city to head to...DO YOU TRUST YOUR GPS? I think the problem is when you are in a rural area...it gets confused sometimes. And sometimes they are hard to see because of the glare of the sunlight. Wish they could fix that problem...
  13. The 4th Annual B2dad & B2mom Meet n Eat...will be May 18th. and YES Squidly, I KNOW what it takes to put something like this on...a little something anyway...lol. All I meant was..don't SCARE them, lol!!! Hope we get to see you and Lonna soon. Missing you guys.

    Do you...

Do you trust your GPS? When you are on UNFAMILIAR roads...do you trust the directions your GPS gives you? Ours has been wrong a time or two...and yesterday, coming thru Louisville, KY, we detoured for lunch...and when we left the restaurant, the GPS was not taking us back the way we came...so I tried to redirect Don back and got CONFUSED due to the fact that a couple different highways intersect in Louisville... Anyway...we lost 1 hr driving time, got held up due to an accident on the hwy...and should have trusted the dang GPS the first time. oh well...live and learn I guess. BTW: Don has a Zumo 660
  15. LOLOLOL However, I would also like to see the Intl Rally next year in Illinois..and would also hope that it would be later in July. The first week or two is usually busy for us. But that is for the committee to decide. DON SAID: He votes for Sept 30th or in that general time frame. (I think he's still overheated from our riding home yesterday...???) BTW Rick and Mike: We would be glad to help if there is something we can do from here.
  16. Made it home just a couple hours ago. Rode a few miles yesterday until the storm caught us. Holed up in Ohio for the night and headed out again today. Rode 540 miles to get home..in 99 degree heat. Don't know if it ever made it up to 100 or not...but let me tell you something...it was HOT HOT HOT!!! So grateful to be home. Thanks again to the NW New York committee. They did a GREAT job!!!
  17. Not sure what Don thinks..but I would vote for Illinois. More importantly...You guys (and girls) from Illinois need to get together really quick and decide where exactly and when you could do it, THEN submit the proposal to Don (Freebird). THEN talk to Big Tom and get all his ideas. Trust me..it's ALOT OF WORK!! And when you mention REGIONAL meets...please remember the B2's meet in May. It is a fundraiser for St. Jude AND a great time for everyone.
  18. Don and I just got home a couple hours ago. Still unpacking and decided to download a few pictures to our home computer. We didn't use the shower there, but we did get to experience, first hand, the wonderful jobs that Motorcycle Tom, Rockin Robin, Big Tom, Taters, bongo Bob, Becky, Amy, and the crew at Pioneer. I am sure I have missed someone...there certainly had to be several others to help put this successful meet on. so thank you one and all!!! It was fantastic and certainly one that Don and I will remember for a long time. We also met some new people and caught up with some old friends. Kudos all the way around!! :clap2::clap2::clap2:
  19. Sorry TERRY! I was posting for Don. Have no idea where I got that name. Knew it didn't sound right. Was still in awe of his flying I guess. They were awesome hosts. Thanks!
  20. The best and maybe the fastest...THE B2!! HAHAHAHA ps...We did not line them up. Someone else was calling the shots. Problem was we didn't have much room and we did the best we could, trying to get them all in the picture.
  21. Thanks Michelle and Jeff. Can't tell you how much we appreciated your hospitality.
  22. Pat and I got caught in the storm also. Holed up in a hotel. Will try to finish the trip tomorrow.
  23. Patti took these. Hope this works http://s760.photobucket.com/albums/xx247/pellis99/International%20Rally%202012/
  24. Just wanted to thank all the committee members of the 2012 for putting on a great rally so far. Don & I are having a great time. We are thankful to be here with everyone. I know the hard work involved in planning something like this and just wanted to take a minute to say thanks BIG TOM & all your hard working crew!!! Niagara Falls was awesome yesterday. The rides have been great so far. Pioneer motorsports have gone above & beyond in their hospitality for us. Can't wait for another day of fun & adventure. :clap2::clap2:
