The pics are pretty awesome! They take several so you have lots to choose from. And remember...most of us went thru TWICE (coming and going) so keep looking, there are probably two sets on each website.

Thanks Barry. You are a real sweetheart too and you make it easy to be around you and like you. And to Joe and your wife, Bobbi...we so enjoyed meeting you and spending time together. We had a great group at Vogel this year, but we also had a fantastic group at the Motel, Seasons Inn. We had the best time just chatting up each other between rides and after dinner at night. We gathered all the chairs we could find (in and out of the rooms) and who wasn't sitting, was looking at / working on bikes. OR trying to figure out how to get a set of luggage home on a 2 wheel WING (and was not pulling a trailer...). LOL! Now that was a good time!!! Then there was a visit from a group from the campground / cabins at Vogel. That was a great surprise and there was alot more chatting, joking and of course, picture taking. The owners at the Seasons' Inn offered to take the group shot of us and was promptly weighed down by SEVERAL cameras. There was that one time, after the banquet was over at Vogel, when some were leaving...that someone couldn't find their way out of the park...and had to be pointed in the right direction...and helping someone get their bike started...a little push here and there. Yes, this is a great Family Barry and thanks for noticing that. Whatever and whenever you need something, we are here. We don't care what you ride you are one of us. We did manage to make someone cry though...I won't say who, but I will let him tell you about it when he gets the opportunity to log on here. He was speechless for quite a while but when he was able to talk...it was all good! I believe Vogel was a huge success, not just because Lewis and Charlene are great people and can plan a great meet...but because the "family" came together and opened their hearts...they helped the kids of St. Jude and they helped each other. It doesn't get any better than this.

Had a great time! As always, Lewis (Dragonrider) put on a great meet (fundraiser) for St. Jude's. We had some great rides thru the mountains of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee on Thursday. Rode the Tail of the Dragon (some did it twice). We had a great meal at FATZ restaurant on Wednesday and Friday. We had an awesome banquet on Friday (lunchtime) along with a 50-50 drawing, raffles and auctions. I think we did an awesome job of raising some funds, considering it was a low turnout. Understand that jobs got in the way for some, some had NO jobs (no funds) and the weather forecast was pretty dismal. Fortunately for most of us, the rain held off until Saturday. Don and I left Saturday morning, along with Barrycuda and the Wolfe's. Not sure who else left. We made it home with virtually no rain and considered ourselves very lucky. Thanks again Lewis for a great meet. Will see you when you get the ride set up to go to St. Jude's to present our donation. I think we got enough for a brick or maybe even a plaque. Hope we have a good turnout for that. Thanks to all who helped raise this money, some from our Meet n Eat in May, St. Jude auctions on VentureRider, donations of items for raffles and auctions, the 2013 International Committee who also donated money raised from auctions and all who just donated money. We applaud you and appreciate every penny raised. Thanks again Patti

If you could also talk to the hotel / motel people there and see if you couldn't get the rates dropped a little more...$100 is a little steep per night for most people. I think we could get more people to come if the rate was better. Worth a try, maybe?

I'm just saying that we didn't know these roads all that well and ALL UPS drivers would obviously know the routes they follow every day, doncha think??? And well, B2dad didn't have any trouble on the trike catching him...so we were just wondering, you know, what the story was..that original story of poor Eck not being able to catch a guy driving a TRUCK for cryin out loud..I mean..really???? (just saying...)

The 2013 Rally was fantastic! You have set the bar really high for the next committee. Can't top Marcarl...what he said is absolutely true. We are family! and we don't see the glitches. Even if we did, we would work them out. This is the best club, site, group or family out there! We prove it time and time again. And now we are at Vogel...another great meet is about to happen.
