I like the idea of gift cards to stores / MC sites...things like that. Or maybe hotel stays at a chain that serves both US / Canada. The prize that Brake Pad talks about...on Sanibel Island...well, its really far for alot of the members, especially if they want to ride their bikes. Not sure I would buy a ticket for that. The prize needs to be something that appeals and is available to most of the members here. I really like the idea of a GC to say Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn...something like that. That way you could travel most anywhere and have a place to stay....or perhaps a gas GC...Shell. That's my thoughts on the prize. Patti

just wanted to let everyone know that we had a great time at St. Jude's today. It was a great group albeit small. Thanks again to all those that donated money this year to St. Jude's. It was greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures:

well, I see all you guys with YOUR side of the story. Both good and bad. My (woman's) side? Don and I have been married 41 years. This is my first. This is his 3rd. Who knows how to do it right or wrong? I almost think it's hit or miss. How hard do you want to work at it? Has the other person done something you can forgive and go on? There's always 2 sides to every story and no one is perfect. YOU have to answer that. If you are sure it's over. then make it OVER. And go on. Please don't forget the kids. I see too much of that in my line of work. Hope you can pick up the pieces and start over and be happy. It's no one's business but your own.

So sorry Bob and Becky. I know how much you are hurting. But you've taken a step in the right direction...on the road to recovery. Our faithful friends / family will never be forgotten, but I am sure they don't wish us to grieve for them but to go ahead and love another, especially a shelter / rescue animal. Lewis We wouldn't miss it for anything...but wondering where are all the folks that usually go. I realize our numbers have been getting lower and lower every year. but this year...I don't know. Is everyone busy, working, other plans? Would be nice if we had a decent turn out. We have a nice donation this year, thanks to lots of good people at the International, generous folks at our Meet n Eat earlier this year, St. Jude Auctions and Vogel. Not to mention a generous donation of a belt buckle and a motorcycle!! So c'mon folks...let's go with Lewis and present our check to St. Jude's!!!! You won't regret it.
