  1. Ok, that is the power up self test, by sounds of it. Press one of the 2 rectangular buttons to select front or rear, then try the 3 smaller square buttons above for different pressure levels in auto mode (outer square ones in manual mode). The round button is to select auto or manual mode. Play with it & see what happens, you should not get an E (error) code, but if so we have the info to fix most of them.
  2. http://www.rammount.com/ They have solid mounting systems for bikes, look at the options here.
  3. So, I guess he wanted you to get his good side, in the pic????????:rotf:
  4. Looks like you are now a target, for her to shoot.........:rotf:
  5. Rocket

    OOPS

Or feeding the pond again, but it is not the weekend & Don is usually out on the road, during the week. :rotf:
  6. That is the wrong place for a non USA member to deal with, for 1 reason shipping $$$$$$. They ship UPS only, by the time UPS cross border fees are added, way too expensive. Sarges46 learned this, the hard way.
  7. The T is in the Tech Bulletin instructions, I have changed mine last year. The smaller line with filter coming out of the left front of the airbox gets cut & connects into the T as well. See attached PDF.
  8. Nope, can't let it disappear before Don's maint day. There are newer members, that haven't read this thread yet....:rotf:

  10. File, emery cloth or something similar, just to clean off any buildup on the metal.
  11. Ok, it sounds like the sensor wire is bad, or a connection problem to the wiring harness. The CMS is a slight possibility, but unlikely at this time.
  12. If you have the sensor installed in the battery, the cells may be low on water & also clean the sensor tip.
  13. I know with the Mk1, it fouls the right rear plug, when too high. Maybe the difference in air cleaner systems, for the no plug fouling.
  14. Better have a spare set of spark plugs handy, they will probably get fouled soon. Normally fill about halfway between the marks.
  15. The 1200 used 2 piston calipers, 1300 4 piston calipers. I believe the rotors are a different size too. Maybe, you can pass those over to a Mk1 owner, that could use them. As I don't know, if they can be re-worked to fit the Mk2.
  16. The golden coloured bikes, like mine..........
  17. You've been hanging around Timmies, too much again, Rick Fair game for the rest of us, go ahead...........
  18. 72 Ft Lbs for the front axle & 32 Ft Lbs for the caliper mounts.
  19. Is the tire bead fully seated on the rim?? Sometimes the tire has a molded line, a short distance away from the edge of the rim. Look to see, if this line is sitting at the same position all the way around (on both sides of the tire) & not dipping down towards the rim. Anther thing that should be checked, is the mounting torque for the axle shaft & brake calipers.
  20. Or how many pond monsters, on the maint day weekend.........
  21. Yeah, you need a break, from preparing to feed the pond again.............
  22. You are pointing in the right direction & yes that is it..............
  23. It is the feed from the reservoir to the master cylinder. No you can't ride without without it. I believe it is still available from the dealers & listed at less than $13. at Flatout Motorcycle.
  24. That will be the hard part, finding a waterproof engine, or keeping it out of the pond.......... :rotf:
  25. That is where the air chuck, pressurizes the front forks with air, on a standard version (no CLASS setup)
