  1. That is asking for, the impossible to happen...... :rotf:
  2. Nope a CFB Wainwright training area thing, contractor will mis-position the portable thrones & then we have to search for them. Best one I know of, so far, is 500 yards away from location wanted & in low ground (couldn't even see them with reflective traffic vests on the roofs).
  3. Also if he keeps filling it with water(hanging by chinstrap in a downpour), it just may shrink on him..........
  4. He probably did, but the real question is........ Did he get there in time???????:rotf:
  5. Just on the basis of the sticking throttle, I would lube all of them (do the choke cable too, while at it). I operate this way, if I can't remember when last time done, it's due to be done again.....
  6. WRONG it was Sgt Shultz, that could be bribed with a chocolate bar.........
  7. Nope, no carb kits, you need to order piece by piece.
  8. Don't inhale the stuff......... :rotf:
  9. Nope, but it is Yammers favorite colour............ Remember, I am thinking of a re-paint, so if that happens this winter, it would be a moot point anyways............
  10. Try 2 tanks of gas for the scoot, saved......... My left saddle bag has always been a leaker, so I went after another one. So instead of paying $50. USD + shipping, I got it for $10. + $30. USD in shipping......... :thumbsup2:
  11. Maybe some dealers will do this, until caught.......... I was going to do a buy it now last week, but the seller closed it early (after I inquired about shipping $$). He had re-listed as a straight auction & I won it today at a fifth of the previous buy it now price (only bidder). He would have made more, if he didn't make the change, but his loss is my gain............
  12. Sounds about right..............:rotf:
  13. For getting the rims laced, get all parts together & hit a Bicycle shop to get it done.
  14. LOL :rotfl::rotfl: BTW Don, how much room does Bobbie get in photobucket, or is she going to have to be more selective on the uploads??????
  15. So you became very attached to it, just as long as it"s not glued to your butt........... I have not heard myself, of anyone putting a GW seat on a VR.
  16. No, that is when the entire fire dept shows up, as his got fire too big & out of control......
  17. You will probably find it this winter, if not sooner. Now that you bought another..........
  18. He will soon find, that is an attraction to this site & will keep coming back, to see the comments being tossed out. Eventually, he will be joining in on the fun, himself. The 1st gen Vs 2nd gen, is all in fun around here & we like to have fun with it. For myself, I don't think my back will take to kindly to the 2nd gen seating position. I know with the 1st gen seating position, my trips to chyro had been greatly reduced, now just the Parked Motorcycle Season (PMS for short)..........
  19. You will probably, need to find them locally........... Mufflers, usually don't come with gaskets.
  20. That's why you guys went to the SLOW side, can't remember where you are heading to.........:rotf:
  21. Yeah, I'll have to wait for him on next years PIP trip (slowpoke)..........:rotf:
  22. Greetings from a Mill Bay member, stuck in Wainwright AB.......... There is a couple of inline fuses on the radio wiring harness, inside the left fairing (you may need to remove the console top, to see them). A new cassette cover can be ordered from Gary @ Duncan motorcycle (think it was about $20. when I got one there)........ If you decide to go aftermarket, a marine unit would be best, but stay away from a Sony unit (problems has been reported with them).
  23. I think it was dropped due to server load (causing site slowdowns)....
  24. :big-grin-emoticon: With his progress this week, you may have to try & hold him back a bit......... So he doesn't over do things & have a setback........ That is nothing, we want to happen, at all. :no-no-no:
  25. Randya is the expert on this one, but my understanding of it, a bad weld is to blame & some have beefed up the area too, during repair. One thing that doesn't help is where someone rotates the scoot, when sitting on the centre stand & no wheel mod done to it. This will put additional twisting stress on the frame in that area.
