  1. Pull the controller apart & hit the switches, under the buttons with contact cleaner. As for the reception, try moving the coax cable at the antenna around a bit, that has improved mine a lot, in picking up FM stations (seek would previously continuesly loop & not find stations), no problem now.
  2. Did you use the right sizing chart, for the helmet...... Or did you figure, that I use a size XXL (or whatever) & it dosen't fit right????????
  3. Yup, http://www.plastex.ca/ You can order it through home hardware, as previously stated in the other post, but they seem to only list the smaller sizes online.
  4. Some of us use Plastex, here is a US link for it http://plastex.home.att.net/ It can also be bought through home hardware (usually have to order it in, as not stocked in store).
  5. That is asking for, the impossible to happen...... :rotf:
  6. Nope a CFB Wainwright training area thing, contractor will mis-position the portable thrones & then we have to search for them. Best one I know of, so far, is 500 yards away from location wanted & in low ground (couldn't even see them with reflective traffic vests on the roofs).
  7. Also if he keeps filling it with water(hanging by chinstrap in a downpour), it just may shrink on him..........
  8. He probably did, but the real question is........ Did he get there in time???????:rotf:
  9. Just on the basis of the sticking throttle, I would lube all of them (do the choke cable too, while at it). I operate this way, if I can't remember when last time done, it's due to be done again.....
  10. WRONG it was Sgt Shultz, that could be bribed with a chocolate bar.........
  11. Nope, no carb kits, you need to order piece by piece.
  12. Don't inhale the stuff......... :rotf:
  13. Nope, but it is Yammers favorite colour............ Remember, I am thinking of a re-paint, so if that happens this winter, it would be a moot point anyways............
  14. Try 2 tanks of gas for the scoot, saved......... My left saddle bag has always been a leaker, so I went after another one. So instead of paying $50. USD + shipping, I got it for $10. + $30. USD in shipping......... :thumbsup2:
  15. Maybe some dealers will do this, until caught.......... I was going to do a buy it now last week, but the seller closed it early (after I inquired about shipping $$). He had re-listed as a straight auction & I won it today at a fifth of the previous buy it now price (only bidder). He would have made more, if he didn't make the change, but his loss is my gain............
  16. For getting the rims laced, get all parts together & hit a Bicycle shop to get it done.
  17. LOL :rotfl::rotfl: BTW Don, how much room does Bobbie get in photobucket, or is she going to have to be more selective on the uploads??????
  18. So you became very attached to it, just as long as it"s not glued to your butt........... I have not heard myself, of anyone putting a GW seat on a VR.
  19. No, that is when the entire fire dept shows up, as his got fire too big & out of control......
  20. You will probably find it this winter, if not sooner. Now that you bought another..........
  21. He will soon find, that is an attraction to this site & will keep coming back, to see the comments being tossed out. Eventually, he will be joining in on the fun, himself. The 1st gen Vs 2nd gen, is all in fun around here & we like to have fun with it. For myself, I don't think my back will take to kindly to the 2nd gen seating position. I know with the 1st gen seating position, my trips to chyro had been greatly reduced, now just the Parked Motorcycle Season (PMS for short)..........
  22. You will probably, need to find them locally........... Mufflers, usually don't come with gaskets.
  23. That's why you guys went to the SLOW side, can't remember where you are heading to.........:rotf:
  24. Yeah, I'll have to wait for him on next years PIP trip (slowpoke)..........:rotf:
