  1. By the sounds of it, the one going through the shock & suspension linkage, but the collar is still listed as available. It's not showing as being available
  2. It screws into a collar on the right side, of the suspension linkage.
  3. Datsun B110 Car & the grease fitting on the end cap (if equipped) will scrape on the swingarm tube. There is no real easy way to pull the middle gear pinion assy out, to change the U joint.
  4. What kind of choke mechanism does it have???? Condor has an 84 with an 83 title, as part of his collection, if I remember correctly. The 84 has a different choke mechanism than any other year.
  5. How can she be, YOU are the Admin............
  6. He will probably be, target practice.......... You may need it.........
  7. Maybe check the speedo sensor, glued to the bottom dash housing, above the speedo cable fitting. Could it be that it is loose & not reading the distance traveled????? Remember, this feature operates by a combination of distance since activation & elapsed time, both conditions must be met for it to work.
  8. Cruise, what cruise, there was no cruise on a 83 (at least, not a 83 in stock form). You going to put in, the Mk2 headlight too??????
  9. A good upgrade to the brake system, would to install stainless steel braided flex lines. They make a huge difference & would make a good winter project. The stock flex lines, were supposed to be replaced, every 4 years. BTW didn't you mean an 85 Venture Royale, as that was the last year with the 1200 engine. It is the fastest one, in the Venture family..........
  10. Kinda thought you had a screw loose, that pic of Russ's proves it..... Did he use thread locker, on your bike too?????? :rotf:
  11. Jean will probably give Fluffy away & keep the 4 legged dogs.......... :rotf:
  12. I'm thinking on trailering mine, in December to Vancouver Island. As I might get some winter riding in (as long as it's not like last winter there). I should be there, for almost a month I hope, before heading back to -30C to -50C temps.
  13. The parts list is correct, it sits between the inner & outer baskets. It is splined to keep the inner hole size as small as possible, to my way of thinking about it. That threw me off the first time too, until I looked closer at the parts list.
  14. It is Marks Performance http://markspipe.com/index.htm, but it looks like the prices have jumped, big time.
  15. The fork seals, as the oil can run down, onto the calipers. Aside from that, a piece of crud under the bleeder screw, or on the crush washers., preventing a good seal.
  16. How about this one??? http://www.digikey.ca/
  17. It was DonB in Windsor Ont. But he was having fun, trying to find some parts.
  18. Don't you mean to say............:rotf:
  19. They were posted last night, but I guess you seeing that, this morning, woke you right up.......
  20. Carb slide assys http://www.partshark.com/fiche_select1.asp?cat=Motorcycles&mfg=Yamaha
  21. Yup, me too........ Had Reiny all cracked up, he lost his train of thought (not that it takes much anyways)......... :rotfl:
  22. Yup, it has. He previously said (while at PIP) he needs to kose weight & I suggested starting with a haircut....... :rotf::rotf:Of course, he didn't like that idea.......... But seeing him in Drag, as in a drag Queen, would not be good at all.
  23. If the 2nd gen uses a single H4 bulb less than 115 watts, it will work.
  24. No problem at all & finally we got to meet up.
  25. I believe Kurt is mailing you the hammer, as well as the camera, that was forgotten in Cody. Grandpagak had put it in his truck, prior to going to supper at the Irma.
