I have dealt with this company in the past & will continue to do so. They became the internet sales portion of Flatout Motorcycles. I believe they are still, 20% over cost on the pricing & that is much better than MSRP. One example I have is (fall 2008), middle gear assy $301 MRSP, cost was $189........... http://www.partshark.com/

But why, we are very willing to share........ This teaches the winter deprived people, tolerance...... :rotfl::rotfl:

heated vest on 1st gen
Rocket replied to chocking's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I use a heated vest on occasion, when doing hwy rides in colder temps (about 3* C). I have not had any problems, as a result of its use. -
Could slide a military M.R.E. (or similar item) or 2 against the inner cylinder walls, the 1st gen side covers should hold them in place.

Radio / cassette deck & onboard control, air compressor, valving (CLASS) for adusting the suspension. The CLASS only works, when the key is in the ACC position.

A friend of mine here in Wainwright, has a "Road Toad". I have rode it a little, around his place, as there is no licence plate on it, so I couldn't go far. http://www.strictlyhodaka.com/99100RoadToad.htm

The better question, to ask, would be. Why are the 2nd gens so slowwwww (even with the rev limiter tweak)???? Compared to 1st gens in general & in particular the 1200cc models........ :snow:

I have one of these on my '83 http://www.utpr.com/venture.html & it's comfortable. It mounts to the seat itself & cutting is required. But beware, most of the instructions is for Gwing, with the last paragraph for the Venture. -
Not so fast, it's starting to thaw out around here, at least for the time being........ :thumbsup2: They can keep it down there & learn from it......... :snow:
