  1. Did you put the splined washer between the inner hub & outer basket upon re-assembly, or under the nut??? If under the nut, you need to pull the clutch again & put it between the hub and basket. I have seen this error, lock up the clutch before, regardless of master / slave cylinder action. :bang head:
  2. :rotfl::rotfl:
  3. Yup, with Squid's size, he hides it well, couldn't tell from just looking at him.......... :rotf:
  4. Who would want, to eat Grandma??? She is probably, a tough old bird & I don't think there is any canibals in this group........ Besides she may buy ice cream, if you behave........
  5. There may be a bike for Mini Muffin, in the works?????
  6. Great reason to get out riding. Others can use it too........ :thumbsup2:
  7. Also Progressive Suspension was previously known, to recommend using 15W fork oil. Not sure if that is still the same or not, these days.
  8. Ok here, using VLC Media Player. Started right away, without any delay.
  9. So, most of the 2nd genners, will be buying them........
  10. The progressive springs come as a set of 2, so you will need 1 set per bike.
  11. I think Bob had a typo, that he missed before posting.
  12. Didn't you mean to say, I got a tow rope and the 1st gen Venture can pull real nice, so I can keep up to them...... :rotf:
  13. Mine has done this a few times over the years, I have only gave it a heavy shot of PJ1 cable lube in through the key hole & let it soak in a while.
  14. You sure it's a Virius??? I'm thinking, the new computer & monitor, could have possibly, been hit with a power spike....... That is why I run a battery backup UPS, to protect my computer equipment.
  15. Great news.........:thumbsup2: I would be interested, in seeing the results, of the dyno run.
  16. The caps are on the idle mixture screws, not the carb sync screws..... You are most likely paying catchup, from the neglect of the previous owners. But once they are all sorted out, it should be a great running bike.
  17. Probably a re-sync is needed, since the diaphram change & also check the plugs for fouling. Sounds like your running on 3 cylinders, as you should hit 75 mph in 2nd gear & at least 110 in 5th, with throttle to spare.
  18. Mother has laid his over on tires, to get at it... Yours was the tightest, that I have seen to date. A b**ch to get off, even with using leverage, but average to reinstall.
  19. Sure, your not going to end up in Alaska????????
  20. 26H-2837M-01-00 is $48.64 at http://www.partshark.com + shipping of course.
  21. More like, it will be much easier to fix that collector rattle, than to find one. Pull the collector, open the bottom, remove the broken baffle & weld it back up..... Done, now put tthe fixed collector back in.
  22. I think she needs a trailer, with that setup..... But it probably wouldn't be legal......
  23. Which Vancouver, WA or BC (could there, also be others, that I'm not aware of)??????
  24. Rocket

    why me

Tape player is the only iffy one, could be ok as long as the rain isn't sideways & getting under the cover......
  25. How soon can we expect to export you???? But maybe, we should send you a couple of states west, to keep Black Owl under supervision...... But then who will supervise, the 2 of you..... I think Sarges46, will be ok at that (considering his current line of work)............................. :rotf::rotf:
