  1. Don's pond monsters, ate it........... :rotf:
  2. Finally, someone managed, to get Lonna posting.....
  3. We are also having Sunshine, with minus 30*C temps (supposed to warm up to minus 23*C today).
  4. Mini Muffin, of course.... :rotf:
  5. Easy way is to pull the headlight & possibly undo the 2 bolts holding the dash mounts in place(allowing the dash to be lifted up some). Also I normally put the inner cable in the case, opposite from OEM, so if the bottom end should come undone, the cable will not be lost. My relays have been sitting loose for years.
  6. I don't, but I have some GUN Tape (military green)...... Did you see the "Mythbusters" duct tape special, that was an interesting one.
  7. Beer 30 is swamped with military orders (as per usual). It took me almost 2 years, to get mine for the 83. So consider, the gear for the troops has priority & it can take a long time, to get side projects done. In other words, do not be in a rush for them.
  8. Maybe swap the rotor assy, from the parts bike & try it. It may, have a better starter clutch on it. It will be a low cost test, at the least.
  9. That is pocket change for him. You forgot the 500 Million for a new roof on BC Place, as many other things as well.
  10. Did you change out, the PIAA H4 bulb, that I had put in there, about 1.5 years ago????
  11. Looks like Mini, was possibly the deciding factor. After all, what was the dealer going to do with her...... They didn't want to keep Mini.......
  12. Depends on if the scoot gets trailered, like Wrongway & his missing seat. After all, his butt was not holding the seat in place. :mo money:
  13. Also a Mk2 left passenger floorboard. The oem radio mute & seek is still in place, as well. Looks like it has been mix & match on the parts. we will need the model suffix from the frame sticker to tell what it was initially built as.
  14. Looking at the pics, the oem radio setup has been swapped out. As a result, you will not have the intercom capability. Or be able to use headsets, to listen to music, as you leave the 2nd genners behind.
  15. Some are cheap too... Now what goes with easy & cheap? But I will be riding again, in about a months time, over on the wet coast....... If the winter over there, is about normal (Soggy).
  16. Your forecast looks worse than mine & I'm north east of you... http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/ab-55_metric_e.html So maybe, Mrich12000 in Calgary, is in for it too. :snow:
  17. If it was in Toronto, it would be the "Maple Leafs" for the choice.
  18. Just because, you are almost as old as Russ . It retired decades ago......
  19. Another option, you can install cross drilled, EBC pro Lite rotors, in place of the stock rotors.
  20. I have been to a strange land, called Ontario a few times. So why not come out west, get some winter riding in, along the coast (scuba gear is optional).
  21. I wonder, how my back will hold up to this job.
  22. That is why, the 83 1st Gen is the fastest, of all Ventures ever produced.
