  1. What do you mean gettin old, he is old, but not as old as the OLD HOOTER.
  2. Too bad for you, that Gary broke her of that, she likes to run now.... He will need to fall over once, at least every 50 miles while riding (on a good day), to achive the OLD HOOTER's very low standards. I seem to recall that Bubber is better than that, on keeping the scoot on it's wheels. It is my understanding, that 9er domestic, can't handle that long of a ride, to & from Cody.
  3. I had unlocked my new phone before heading stateside & got a prepaid sim card while in gary's area. Prior to the change in sim card, the phone was good for "emergency use only". I have my normal sim card in it now with being in Ontario, but once I head south again, the other sim card will go back in.
  4. That would also give him something to do at work, aside from reading the posts on here.....
  5. Currently at Rod's sisters place, I'm not sure when leaving here, for the next relatives place. As for the "stalker" bit , it was a surprise, but was good to see you again.....
  6. Still soaking it every day so far, but he was complaining about the request for updates......
  7. Been to Borden once so far (quickie look), will be back there again before heading stateside. We will be working our way back towards there, stopping at Grumps relatives, along the way.
  8. Your prize will be a Free Haircut (no more tail feathers)......
  9. Ramp for hwy 427 closed, so scenic route thru Toronto, with a gas can re-fuel & leg strech in a parking lot. We ended up with a stalker in the parking lot, "chabicheka" causing more of a delay & finally another re-fuel & coffee stop along the way. We also waited, until daylight before heading to his Cousins place. Just woke up recently, from the laydown since arrival.
  10. Will be heading down your direction later, as Rod wants a look at the creemore area today. I can't make firm plans, as per normal on this trip (so far), everything is subject to change.
  11. Here are most of the pics so far. Didn't get any with Yooper though, or of Rod sleeping in Fred's lazyboy. Figured out the gaps in the spot locator transmissions.............. Do not put any keyring, in the same pocket, as the spot unit. They can turn off, the tracking, function.......
  12. Going to make a side stop at yoopers place. Considering we are a out a mile away at the moment.
  13. If Bubber ever gets to the OLD Hooter's low standards, 50 to 60 minutes will totally wear him out......
  14. Now at the PIP locale. Ended up stopping in Fargo last night, Those winds were strong last night. Rod is having a good conversation, with Gary right now......
  15. Nope, Grump & I are at Whoomp's place over in Minnesota. Maybe on Monday, we will head towards Michigan, that is If we don't do a side trip to Dennis Kirk, near Bubber's place......
  16. Grump & I are at the Fargo motel 6 behind the Flying J, we just got in about 03:30. Guess checkout is about 10:00 & we continue on to Whoomp's stomping grounds.
  17. Don't want to cause mass suicide, from anyone seeing Russ with his shirt off..... Are you willing to risk, your sight & what is left of your sanity, from seeing him shirtless.
  18. During one of our breaks away from the bikes today, someone had cut the trailer wiring. So as a result I need to re-wire to the scoot in the morning, now that I have some crimp connectors. Yes Russ, I have my crimpers with me........
  19. Yup, had to stop before dark, as someone had cut the trailer wiring (clean cut at an angle & no signs of abraision) during one of the stops, I now have crimp connectors to re-connect the lighting, in the morning. Otherwise I wouldn't of stopped for the night, before Nodak. No the bikes have been pushing a headwind most of the day, Rod didn't realize that until he got off the 83, while out in a open area.
  20. He used to make bags as time permitted, but govt contracts, left him without the time needed.
  21. Also check at the steering neck, the left front caliper & left anti dive (linked brakes). You will most likely have an air pocket up by the steering neck & the mk1's do not have a bleeder nipple with the stock left front line. The Mk2 left front line has a bleeder nipple. There could also be seepage, from the hose between the reserviour & master cylinder, allowing air in over time.
  22. Rocket

    Spot 1 ?

Yup I have the initial model & it works fine..... I had turned it off, now that I have stopped for the night.
  23. Tomorrow is looking better than today, so we are staying put another night.
