I have mine static balanced for piece of mind. I figure it was balanced from the factory so it must need to be?

If your flashers were on you may have bumped them and the kill switch at the same time? I have gone to turn my fashers on in the rain and hit my kill switch and panic because the bike stoped.

As some know my friend went down saturday and we are trying to get the bike back on the road. he needs upper fork tubes for a 08 roadstar 1700. If anyone knows of the best place to find them any links would be great. Pacific coast has some but they are 2" longer and i'm not sure how much that would change. They are $325.00 a set. He doesn't have very much xtra cash so the cheaper the better since I will probly be the one to pay for them. He is recovering well now it's time for the bike. Hit one a few months ago with headlight visor........scared the crap out of me cause it cut the bird in half. I never seen the bird just out of the blue the windshield had a streek of blood up it. when I stoped the other half was under the visor.

OHH YEA! The shirt is nailed to the wall at his house. For those who don't know 2 weeks ago in another curve a rabbit ran under his back wheel and sent him into a ditch and totaled his v-star 1100. He was wearing the same shirt!

Bad thing is this is the curve he was playing in.

This is what happens when you push youre bike to drag the floors or pegs. In this case he pushed at the wrong section of the curve and front wheel lost contact so rear tire pushed him into the gaurd rail. This is a good friend of mine and is a good rider he just got careless but is lucky to have walked away. The bike however will have to have a front rim, front finder, and new forks. Not sure if I put this in the right place but I thought we can all learn from not only our own but others mistakes. PLEASE RIDE SAFE!
