    I hate the speedo! Why do they put them on tanks...I will never know? I don't like looking down while I ride, so half the time I have no idea how slow I'm going!

    Yes I was talking about the pigtail. Have you tested it for power there?

    Have you cleaned the contacts on yours? I had one stop working once and it was just dust in the conector.

    Thats how I do it also. The wood is very important, you don't want to shoot it across the garage.

    BUB's sell 2 muffler systems. 1 Sleeper slip ons. "just mufflers" No rejet or carb work! 2 BUB's headers and muffler. Larger headers do need a rejet!

    Thanks everyone for the kind coments. It's a sweet ride and sooooooo light next to the Venture. And ECK you will have to get in line Everyone has said they will haul Sabrina for me if she don't like it. Lucky for me she does!

    If it's a true "Bog" it's to much air or not enough fuel. Check all your fitting around the air intake. If thats all good get with a local member and let the ride it to see if it's a bog or just lugging the motor. You will find more help here than at any dealer in the world!

    9K HARD miles on my Kumho and no wooble! I didn't care for the C/T the first few hundred miles. But now I have adapted to the tire and love it. Once you make the change be sure to give it time and you will love it too!

    I think Bummer is got it! Check your oil level! If it's too much it will blow into the air box. Did the bike come from Sylacauga Yamaha? If so I know the bike and you will need your carbs synced. i'm in bama too if you need anyone to do it PM me. I have a morgan and not scared to use it! Welcome to the best site for help!

    Have you checked your front brakes? Jack the bike enough to get the front wheel off the ground, pull one calliper off left or right, spin the wheel then put that one on and take the other off and spin. you could have a calliper going bad slowly or just sticking a little.

    You have to remove the air box to get to the filter. Not hard at all. The 2 screws you see and the intake tube on the back of it. Then there are several screws to open the box to change the filter inside. And yes K&N's are worth it!
