I'm skeptical of that analysis. Think it isn't half of people attending got covid-19. They are likely saying x number of people picked it up at Sturgis, then brought it back home and infected others. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Eluder seat on Star Venture?
DanielM replied to Tutor's topic in Star Venture and Eluder Tech Talk ( '18 - Present)
No idea about the eluder seat. I am intrigued to hear more about you removing top case from your venture. did you come up with a way that you can easily put it back on when you need it? Have any pics of what your bike looks like with it removed? Thanks Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk -

I installed the update. Went without a hitch. I haven't noticed anything different. Hundred bucks well spent Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk -
Infotainment Update to 12.2.0
DanielM replied to bpate4home's topic in Star Venture and Eluder Tech Talk ( '18 - Present)
The update map button is only selectable if there's a newer version of the map on a USB stick that's plugged in. Q4 2018 is newer than r12.0.6 Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk -
That is a lot of bike for very little money. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Holy crap. Sure that isn't a misprint? $12k for brand new TC is a steal. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Thanks for sharing. Would be nice if they provided a list of changes so we can decide if it is worth it. Also not impressed that you have to buy updated map to get it. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk -
Route downloading?
DanielM replied to Hutch1638's topic in Star Venture and Eluder Tech Talk ( '18 - Present)
You can copy a .gpx file to the bike from a USB stick plugged into USB cable in right side glove box, but the GPS only supports routes with small number of waypoints. So small a number that I find the feature useless. As a result, I create routes using "my route app" and navigate them via phone on ram mount. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk -
I haven't heard anything. With the limited number of way points that can imported with a route, I've taken to using my phone with ram mount to navigate. Only thing on the bike I'm not impressed with. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

So the wife is tired of stuff I've got around the house collecting dust. Instead of selling, thought I'd try something different to see if there is interest. I have below items that I will ship at my expense to whomever could use them at no charge. Recipient agrees to make a donation to local food bank of whatever amount you are comfortable with. Amount should be between you and the charity only. 1) Brand new still in plastic wrapping Clearview shield X-Large clear 22#L 27#W with 5 position vent for 2nd gen RSV 2) 2" Black Rox Extended Stem Pivoting Risers For 1" Handlebars SKU: 1287342. These were mounted on my bike for a week before I decided they were too tall for my liking. Hope it this is an appropriate forum to post this type of message in. Shoot me a message if you want either of these things and we can work out logistics for me to get them shipped. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Very nice. Your post inspired me to have a solo picnic of my own today. 300 miles round-trip, but worth it for the view and solitude. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Anyone have thoughts on following statement from senator Chris Murphy: "The U.S. had a program that put scientists all over the world to identify viruses early so we could get a head start on vaccines and treatments. The program was working in the exact lab in Wuhan that identified coronavirus in January. The program was shut down last September." Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

My oldest son is a firefighter and oldest daughter is a nurse, both living in Canada. I'm all for people having freedom of choice for own personal well being, but when it comes to an individual's choice putting others in harm's way I'm not down with that. If ending social distancing before qaulified experts recommend increases risk of those on the front line I'd prefer we continue to stay home. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Hey Patch, I am intimately familiar with shady side and good side of Canada's history. Proud to be a Canadian. Was recruited by an American company to move to DC area 19 years ago to work in tech and have been here ever since. Married an American and 5 out of 9 kids live in states and 4 are up in Canada. I know for a fact the company I work for would rather have found someone less expensive and local if they could have. Completely agree that the U.S Constitution is to be envied. We need to keep pushing a little bit every day to better live up to its ideals. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

I'm at about 23k miles. Bike has not been anywhere near a pressure washer. ABS light is also coming on. Will give the warranty a test drive with the dealer. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Noticed code 90 showing up where milage usually does when turning bike off via kill switch after ride into work this morning. Powering off and on made it go away. Any idea what this means? Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Bought my TC in April 2018 and after 23k miles, have finally passed another one out in the wild. Around noonish, Sunday December 15 in Maryland. He or she was with a group of about a dozen bikes heading east on 80/Fingerboard Rd towards 270 and I was heading west. I was riding the faster black version and he/she the slower red. Was this someone on this site? Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
