    Went for a short ride yesterday, but I had to charge the battery to get it started so she may need a new one this spring. Did I mention it felt GOOOOODDD!!!!!!!

    Do yourself a HUGE favor and install the Stebel air horn, the stock horns are inadequate.

    Get it ready and go !!!!! The wife and I rode our 99 to Cody last summer 2-up pulling a trailer with enough stuff for my wife to survive a month with no problems. I did the clutch upgrade at Freebirds M/D and if not none already I would do the ignition relay upgrade. M/D is a great place to get assistance and the smaller stuff can be done on site with no labor charges, lots of people willing to help fellow riders.

    I think somebody would be a happy camper to pick up all that bling for 10K, I don't know the year and mileage, but its been taken good care of for sure. And just what might you be putting a deposit on ??????????

    I went across on 24 on our way home from Cody, nice trip 4 lanes most of the way and divided hwy in some sections. We did not want any part of the big city 2 up pulling a trailer.

    Jonas, I seen this bike at a Star rally before the Venture Riders Forum started. One sweet bike and attention was paid to every detail.

    OK, this should do it. I usually ride 5-8K a year HOWEVER since I have been permently laid off the mileage could be unlimited ( now the clincher ) in Michigan we have more mosquitos than anywhere else in the world along with more airborne critters than I have seen in all of my travels, did I mention RAIN !!! this state is surrounded by water and it ain't all on the ground yet !!!

    I was just thinking about you today and BAM there you are, I must have missed you on that 200 miles last year. Hope to catch you in 2012 !!!!!! It does sound like the splines or alignment. Get that scoot ready and lets go....

    Well the Cody rally was our trip of a lifetime, I just moved up to 4 weeks vacation this last year and Leslie and I said lets go !! So we took two and a half weeks and headed out up through MI across the Mackinaw bridge over to the Kewenaw Peninsula across the Lake Superior shore across Minnesota to South Dakota where we met up with Larry and Joyce (carbon-1) and spent a couple of nights in Keystone SD taking in the Black Hills area and across to Cody taking in a few sites along the way. In Cody, well you would of just had to been there, we had the best time. Took a different route home hooking up with Dan-O and Rose a couple of times along the way. The trip was something we may not be able to pull off again for quite some time as it took 15 years of service to acquire 4 weeks of vacation and in October my job ceased to exist so the funding and the paid time off may not come together again for quite some time, We are soooo happy we decided to go. 2011 was the trip of a lifetime and we were happy to spend it with many people on this site, VR ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Brown here as well and only 5-6 inches so far this winter, after the last two winters I'm not complaining.
