Hazen, Good for you !!! Another adVENTURE in life, sometimes you need a little change. This State is still very depressed no matter what the media wants everyone to believe every job I have looked at has been extremely under paid and they want a Bachelors degree to sweep floors. With so many out of work sadly they can get it. Good luck to you, Safe travels, Gary

I got one of those special invites a long time ago, there couldn't have been more than maybe 150 members? Just a great place to hang around and meet some great people and learn a few things about these bikes. I'll be here when I have to down grade to a wheel chair most likely...... But I hope thats many miles down the road !!!!!!!!

Feel your pain, My be close to having to make that decision myself. You have to do what must be done. I watched a motivational video yesterday and it's basis was about letting go. Sometimes things have to rearange things to allow yourself to move forward.

I used it on my Royal Star and it ruined the shield, it raised the scratch protection. I will not use it on my Venture. If i'm washing the entire bike 1. spray off windsheild 2. soft clean towel w/warm soapy water laid across sheild for a few minutes 3. pull towel staight up off the sheild and with the other side or a clean wet towel up and down motion untill bugs are gone 4. Plexus or Pledge. JMHO...

Prayer Request

Mark, I was in your shoes about three years ago and a friend happened to be one of the hospice workers and what she said to me I'll never forget. You and your family "she said" are losing one person but your father is going to leave a lot more people than that. Let him know it is OK to let go and that you are at peace with that. He is the one making the journey and he needs everyones support. Our prayers are with you and your family, Gary & Leslie -
I've been paint and body man for years, if it's just a driver get some sheet metal and cut it large enough to cover the hole and reach solid metal apply roofers cement, tar, under coating or whatever you might have around to seal it in place and attach it with hex head self tapping sheet metal screws ugly but water tight. If you have an exterior patch you might wat to use pop rivets. Now that is for a beater, if your trying to restore it theres a lot more detail and I would not recommend it for something in the condition you described. Just plug it and drive it.

I don't know how to get there from your location but my wife and I stayed there on our way to the International Rally in Cody last summer and we were very impressed with White Cloud,MN, a very clean and well maintained city, unlike this dogpile near me. Enjoy your trip!!!

He sure treats his employee's right. I started casting out a few lines, getting caught up on everything else so its about time to get back at it. A little taste of retirement was nice but I have three houses to get paid off first.
