David, The switch fails due to load not from repeated contacts, it gets hot and the bakelite plate that holds the contacts becomes distorted and unable to hold the contacts. By installing the relay only the power to activate the relay goes thru the switch. Gary

Lewis I remember that year at Vogel, I think I met Steve and Marion earlier that year at a M&E at the Junction Buoy and the two of the stopped in on there way out west. Was I surprised to see Steve and his uncle in Georgia a couple of months later, I gave his uncle a set of beads to sit on as his seat was getting chapped and I just happened to have a extra in the bike. I was amazed Steve had ridden sooo many miles and to turn around and pick up his uncle and head to Vogel. He wore his heart on his sleeve for sure, I'm proud to have known him and my heart goes out to family and friends. God Bless them. Gary

65 here in Michigan today IC23B and I took a nice ride today, let him try the 2nd gen for a while. He gave it a thumbs up but it took a few miles for him to get comfortable on it. Unbelievable for this kind of weather this late in the year and they are calling for mid 50's thru the 28th.

Thank God she's down under, we would be in real trouble if she were around here. She might get talkin to the spouses and we could be in deep you know what.

I used the Pioneer speakers from Wally World they sound a little better, However you are only going to get so much out of a 4" speaker. Rocking the World ain't possible. Gary

Stopped at a C-store and my father took a bag of 2 for $1.00 peanuts to the register, the clerk said he ( Dad ) would have to buy two because he didn't know how much to charge for just one bag.

P.S. also do the shift linkage at the same time by pulling back the boot and giving them a good shot. -

I hit mine with white lithium grease a couple of times a year, you can get it in a aresol can, does the trick. Never had a problem.
