Glenn, Karl, I'll be there Saturday for breakfast and the day. Should be a HOOT !! I've been a couple of times and if the weather holds it will be Great this year. I'll keep an eye on the post as time gets closer.

Whenever I make a purchase of substantial value, I go to the book store ( Borders or Barnes and Noble ) and find the Consumers Reports annual buyers guide. And after a brief education I make my decision. It works for me !!!!! -

99 R/S BLVD nice bike but no cruise, CB, intercom, Stereo, lockable storage and the list went on, so I found the 99 Silver Venture and the rest is history. I have owned 8 Yamaha's but only 2 V4's.

Gerald there are a few out there most are 250 or 400 cc, The 250's are lighter and are water cooled and are pushing out more hp than the old ones we rode. The 400's may be to much power for a beginner.

I had Rick do both of the seats on my bike. Money well spent. My wife has not spent much time on the back but my seat was a great improvement.

Your axle must be misaligned or bent. I have pulled my H/F home built project 5K and you cannot detect any wear on the tires. Two things I would advise to check are to measure from the center of the tongue to the front of the tire to insure the axle has been set up correctly, the distance should be equal. Next measure the width between the front of the tires and then the back of the tires, they should be equal as well. something is way out of whack !!!!! Good Luck

Rick, It was great to see you again, glad you are all home safe. I was amazed to see the whole family, you are building a legacy that will be remembered for generations. Not many attendee's from the first P/C rally and to see you driving cross Continent blew me away, again. Gary:thumbsup2:

OOP'S UPDATE, My Bad !!!!!!! Leslie just reminded me that we are going to a wedding Saturday evening. I can't seem to keep up with the social calender, I guess that's what I keep her around for.
