  1. When I do my new front end he lines will have to be longer to be kept neat. Which is why I was going to go for the vmax parts st this time. Dose anybody know what size he banjo bolts are. I am going to have to rebuild my front calipers so I could just fined out that way but if someone knew that would be great. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. I also found this awhile back. I bet something like this could be retrofitted with a couple of solo seats. https://www.baggersmag.com/legends-sliding-tour-pak-rack Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. I found a set of vmax front brake lines on ebay for $16 usd. So now my question is what to do about the 2nd brake line from the rear master cylinder. eventually I will swap for ss lines all around when I build my leading link front end for the sidecar. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. I was kinda thinking of doing the same kinda setup on a old kz1000p Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. Finally rebuilding the forks. Have to wait for new parts to come in so I cleaned and sanded the fork lowers since the factory clear coat was coming off. I also had to remove glue that the previous owner had used to hold on some fork protectors. I am going black with them. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. There must have been a change over because these are definitely 12-1.25 bolts (used the bolt identifier at the store) I wish they were 8mm or even 10 because they had them in Stock. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. I tried the impact and ended up using about 6 foot of breaker bar (luckily it's a sidecar) the bolts are done for. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. I tried ace (only place open today) they didn't have any so I ordered one on ebay. I also have a new a seal comeing (nicked one putting it on) oe fork had a crush gasket and the other didn't have a washer at all. Will a normal crush washer used for oil dean plugs be what I am looking for? Am I going to need to grind down the head of the bolt to clear the axle? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. They are a M12-1.25x25mm bolt. I ordered a couple of stainless ones off ebay but they might need some modification and they won't have the magnet what ever that is for. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. It looks like someone who rebuilt the forks before me used a empact gun to put the bower bolts in. As a result they need replaced but I can't find them anywhere. I need 16 and 19 from the diagram. If anybody has a set let me know Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. Witha remote screen you could make a good gps. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. This is the bluetooth modual I was going to use. It requires 5v so it would have to be paired with a regulator of some sort. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. They showed up 2 days ago. Thanks now I just need to get the chopper out of the garage so I can work on the venture Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. So it is a cable that ties in like it is a 2nd headset? That wouldn't be too hard. My original plan was to tap into the cb so that my phone would override the music. I could make a inline splice (like how you wire trailer lights) to put it between pasanger intercom and the mixer. Then all you would need is a little box for controlls. 15. I'm unfamiliar with the garmin interface. Is it a din plug or something like that? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. I was thinking a way to link a ipod or phone to the radio. I suppose if you were to tap the headset mic you could even talk on the phone as well as play music. There would be buttons to controll yout device (volume skip and play) I would wire it to draw power the same way the casette deck dose and it might even be possible to have a small storage cubby. 17. Would anybody be interested in a bluetooth modual to replace the cassette deck on the venture? I picked up some small bluetooth boards and could make up some wired to plug in. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. In 14 I hacked together a rig using a mk2 and a California sidecar that had come off of a goldwing. Yours looks much more put together than mine but with some upper body strength you dont need to do any upgrades to the stearing but they are nice.
  19. That's ok I don't even have a side stand Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. My bike doesn't see much time inside the garage but I do want the fold over so that I can tarp it when I need. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. I remember seeing the Marshall mod but the link is no longer functional. My 89 has a mount 9n both sides of the rack so I ordered a 2nt antenna mount off ebay for $11 and I was going to use a fire ring mount with a fold over stud. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. I have several mounts but I just want sure if I needed a no ground plain or if there was enough metal on the bike. I will be putting the whip on the left side of the bike like I do with every car I have ever installed a CB on. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. Has anyone installed a different cb antenna on there 1st gen. Did you do it with a standard antenna or a no ground plain antenna? I am going to be using separate antennas for cb and stereo. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. Give a app called locast a shot. Depending on where you are it might do for you. I have sling tv and use locast for local. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. I want one to put on my sidecar body. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
