It is a very interesting design and I would like to look at it at the rally. Like he said, it's all good. right Brad??

The wheels of justice turn terribly slow when you are the victim. Keep up the faith and prayers. I truly believe that you are nearing the finish line. Just letting you know you are still in our thoughts and prayers. Jim & Patricia

Lowell, read your post and we are really sorry to hear of your health problems. Like everyone has already said, pay attention to what the doctor says and behave a little. I know that will be hard for you, but trust us on this one. I was just thinking that you must have driven a jillion miles on your old YAMAHA. Didn't take long for that Kawasaki to take it's toll on you, did it. Maybe we just need to get your local voo-doo gal to take the curse off your new ride. Regardless, take care of yourself and come through Arkansas next time around. If you don't get better soon, let us know and we might just have a meet and eat at your place.

I don't know this for sure, but I heard Don was looking at some plans for the old dunking stools they used to have in all of the town squares. They were usually reserved for witches and the like, but occasionally justice was also dispersed upon women who gossiped or talked to much. Just a warning but the spring water in Arkansas ranks right up there with a bucket of ice water...but there's a lot more of it. Sorry Don, I hope I didn't ruin your surprise. Just let me know if you need me to trailer it up to the HUB for you.

Really sorry to hear about the job losses among my Venture friends. I've was downsized twice in three years and I know it can be disheartening. Keep plugging away and something will turn up. I went from a supervisors position to an entry level drafting job, but I've been with them almost eight years now. We will keep all on you in our thoughts and prayers.

Gee, we were all thinking it was your "sweet" disposition at St. Charles that caused that....:rasberry: -
We need more details on the new ride. Did you keep your wing? I can testify to the fact that the fish is GOOD at Culpeppers and it's all you can eat. Can't go that far for fish but good luck on the ride and with the new bike.

I bet your kids would much rather camp out under the stars at Don's place, then you could give their bed to someones lonesome traveler from Arkansas....

You and MarCarl have to share Squidley. I get Lonna. :rasberry::rasberry:

Thanks for all the good feed back. It is amazing what some are able to overcome just because they set their mind to it. I can't imagine how hard it would be to ride without one arm or one leg, but I know a man born without any arms and he has been a shadetree mechanic for a lot of years. Again, thanks for the good postings.

I saw something the other day that I don't think I have ever seen before. I met an older guy on a big cruiser that only had one arm. Didn't notice it when he pulled up to the stop sign, but when he turned in front of me, I could see that his left arm is missing. Just had to think about how hard it would be to ride a bike with only one arm. I was both impressed by his moxie but concerned at the same time. I knew a guy a long time ago that rode with an artificial leg, but that would seem relatively easy compared to missing an arm. Have any of you met or known someone who rides a bike without both arms and legs? I'm just wondering how common that actually is.

Ken, we were looking forward to riding with you as well. So what is the status of your injury? Hope it is going well.

I'm not up to speed on the photo bucket, so I'll try to attach some to this post. Hope it works. I have more, so maybe someone can guide me through the Photo Bucket instructions so I can post them all. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the ride.

Pat & I met a lot of great people at St. Charles this weekend. Unfortunately age has reduced my memory to barely functional. Just wanted to know if I could add some of you to our "Friends" list. P.S. This will be really embarrasing if no one replies...

Thanks so much to Bill & Linda. :clap2: You put on a great M & E and were excellent hosts. Enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones. Thanks also to Wrongway for leading part of the pack and a special thank you to Bill for making him turn around. :rotf: I will post pics as soon as I get them downloaded. Hey Bill, did you get a final count on who was there? Thanks again.

.....Hey, I want some of Lonna's cheescake too. Can't make Don's, but maybe one of you would volunteer to save me a piece and bring it to "The Hub" when you come? Who could we trust to do that???

Packing up the bike tonight and will try to leave between the rain drops in the morning. If the weatherman is right, , we are going to get into St Charles before the afternoon rain. Anybody want to take any bets on that??? :no-no-no:
