    Indy 500

Thanks Jerry. Just finished watching todays race on T.V. Good race, but I'm still craving to see it in person. Like you said, I heard the infield was the place to be years ago. I now have a niece who lives in Indy and her husband is a Deputy Sheriff. Might have to try my luck there.
  3. No way, not now, not ever!!!!!
  4. Enough of the polite chit-chat. I'm asking the question everone really wants the answer to. WHEN WILL THE RIBS BE READY??? Seriously, enjoy the new cooker and if you cook to much I'm sure there are some local VR members to help with the excess. :rotf:

    Indy 500

I know there are a lot of racing fans on this site, so how many of you have attended the Indy 500. It's been a dream of mine for years, but something is always getting in the way. Is it as good to attend as I imagine or is it, as some have told me, better sitting in front of a widescreen in the comfort of your home. Thanks.
  6. That is a very nice looking 1st gen. Enjoy
  7. Man, you and John must be some really skinny dudes!!! :rotf: :rotf:
  8. Just load it up and go to Don's maintenance day. Those guys just love a challenge.:rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:
  9. Now I know why I still love my home state. Way to go Missouri. :cool10: I wonder if the would give away maybe a derringer or something just for test driving one? Hmmm :confused24:
  10. I've done something similar to that before. Will your Lemmon Pledge work for that?
  11. I like the set-up as well. Only came on once, but wasn't as scary as low pressure light that won't go off.
  12. Never would have thought of using a yo-yo. Neat idea. Is this like an industrial strength model? I could easily see a standard yo-yo disappeaing into the asphalt down here in the South.
  13. The Grace of God is sufficient. Sorry to hear of the accident, but glad that you are both doing better.
  14. :whistling: Sorry, just couldn't help myself. I'll try to do better!! :ignore: Like he said, no cow stuff needed. See. I'm doing better already. :rotf:
  15. That is some of the best news I have heard in quite a while. Why all the secrecy Mike? Don't remember any mention of her in the Christmas cards and Happy New Years greetings. You have got to stay in our happy little family and post the happy date. Like Alan said, So it sounds like a rally in Hot Springs is coming up! We'll do our best to behave!! Ditto. Congratulations Brother. Yee - Haaa
  16. I think that's on bio-fuel we could all agree on, but just for medicinal purposes of course...(my other half may see this post!!)
  17. Man if that's all it will take to get Linda on the long runs with you, what are you waiting for. Get off that fat wallet of yours buy it. Unless of course you were planning on leaving all your money to your Venture Rider buddies. In that case, never mind.
  18. Amazing timing for a great picture. From the position he is in just prior to smacking the water, I'm surprised all he got was a fractured pelvis!!
  19. You are so right. In essence you're saying that you actually can put 10lbs of manure in a 5lb sack. :rotfl::rotfl:
  20. All's good on my side. Like they said, Ditto or Dito, or whatever, thanks for all you do.
  21. I know that will be hard to do and I'm sure your heart and mind won't be on your job. Will keep you in our prayers as well.

    had fun

Wow, a '57 with twin spots. Rare to find. What's that other thing with three wheels you're running around with?
  23. What's the problem? Man works that hard should be able to eat in bed if he wants to. :2132:
  24. Probably right Mike. It's a shame none of the 2nd gens will live to see their 30th birthday. They will either die on their own or be killed by their owners in a fit of remorse and/or anger.:hihi: Now back to the thread. Great looking bike. Thanks for posting pics.
