I haven't done it but I think you could get fittings and hose used to join air bags or shocks on pickups. Not sure who sells this stuff but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. Maybe an industrial supply business. Some place that sells pneumatic equipment. When I was working, we had all kinds of this type of stuff for air gauges and pneumatic switches etc. Basically attach a hose from each shock to a "T" fitting with a Shreader valve. Same as used when air bags are installed on a pickup.

Rick is your man. He'll sculpt the stock seat foam and cover it with memory foam. The end result will sit you a little lower and give you a little less width in the thigh area.

Not me. Spent the day in Luckenbach, Tx.

I had a block building and hated it. Cold, damp and hard to heat. Tore it down and went with frame construction. 2 X 6 walls, vinyl siding and dry wall interior. I have a gas furnace but if I could do it over I'd have put radiant heating in the floor.

I bought all the bling (safety chrome) on my bike from them.

A test light and/or volt meter is invaluable for diagnosing these problems.

Road star trailer hitch
Gary N. replied to roadrash's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
It would really surprise me if it did. If you can weld, they are easy to make or check the classifieds on here to find one for your bike. I think Carbon One is making them. -
Did you by chance push the off switch??? If not sounds like a fuse.

Nice bike and welcome to the site. FYI, and you can tell me to mind my own business if you want, but I wouldn't ever use that rear crash bar to tie my bike down. They bend real easy. I think the cross bar under the back of the rear fender is a better choice. I also put a strap around the passenger floor boards towards the front to keep the bike pulled into the tire chock.

Good luck Jeff. I know all about the PT and OT. It's not fun but it needs to happen.

Flanders Handlebars with cables ?
Gary N. replied to FuzzyRSTD's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
When I did mine I only changed the throttle cables. I was able to get enough play in the brake and clutch hoses by clipping a couple ties and adjusting the M/C position a bit on the handle bars. No issues in over 50,000 miles. -

It's been a long time since I've had dry wall work done but as I recall the guys that do it for a living charge by the square foot. Maybe you could find out what the going rate is in your area and take it from there. Last time for me was 1995. Had a 1900 sq. ft. garage done. They installed the dry wall and finished it for $1000.00. I bought the material.

Very sorry to hear of your loss Jim. May the good memories bring you peace and comfort. -
Hey Buddy, you only turn 60 once and you made it. Happy Birthday. See you again soon. BTW we met the other folks in the park that has a trailer similar to yours. You've got to see how they have it set up.

Personally, if I ever go back again, I wouldn't register for anything. I'd just pay to get into the trade show and go riding the rest of the time. I found it way over priced for what they give you. We paid for the on street parking pass but I seen lots of bikes parked without one and never saw anyone checking either. The event is for profit, to the promoter.

After I was hospitalized in Ohio I found out that my insurance company had negotiated the charges down to about 30% of what was actually billed. I only had one bill for a back brace I couldn't wear, that wasn't covered totally by my insurance and when I called the company that provided it and told them what my insurance would pay, they lowered the bill to that amount. I don't remember the numbers now but it was significant. Something like 10% of the actual bill. And IMHO about ten times more then the brace was worth.

I agree with the clearance issues. For that kind of money you may as well go with the Flanders G2 bars and you would know they will work.

FYI the way they have the order of sale is the better quality, more expensive, and higher value the vehicle is, the later in the week they go up. I was there in 2010 on the Tuesday and there were some pretty good deals that day. They also sell the better stuff during the times the TV cameras are rolling. You definitely don't see every vehicle sold on TV. You can goggle their auction results if interested too.
