  1. Just saw this Dan. Sorry for you and your wife's loss. Haven't been getting onto the Internet lately. I just said a prayer for her, Hope it speeds up her trip to our Lord!
  2. Perhaps it's time to do another campout this August? Route 60 is the best ride from here. Or... better yet, Tea Creek Campground would put us in the heart of riding country. I will be camping at Tea Creek at least once in August. Will let you know date. It will probably only be a 5 day heads up, as I don't want to camp or ride in the rain.
  3. Mike, The Kanab X-ray tec Mike Church was adamant that he could look after your trailer. Give him a call (435) 689-0190 Why did the adjuster "Troy" say your trailer was covered?... I told him the locking part of the hitch was broke($29.00) at tractor supply. Jake Ramsay's (towing) number is (435) 689-0038
  4. Its all about heat. An air cooled??? Touring bike just does not get it for me. A second gen RSV, will get 200,000 miles without doing anything beside a valve job(s) and routine maintenance. I expect more miles out of a top end touring bike, not less. Have ridden with my BIL many times. He literally cooks when we come to a stop on a hot day.
  5. Pm'd? Jeff on this... I think? nothing showing in my sent box?
  6. What about Festus and Doc?
  7. Sounds good Mike. Looking forward to this.. Leo's staying overnight on the 12th and we're going to head out bright and early on the 13th. After ST Louis we're taking 295 to 44 so Leo can hit the tip of Oklahoma then 50 thru Dodge City and Cannon City... See you there! approx. 350 mile days
  8. Jeff, Glad you figured it out. MacGyver move for sure. The RSV is notorious for eating screws nuts and bolts. There are so many nooks and crannies on her that it's easy to loose things. Next time you're at Harbor Freight check out the stainless steel bolt trays with magnet. They will hold the bolts and pins in place, in the order you took them out.

  10. How did you get Jeannette to do a long distance Motorcycle tour?
  11. Sweet... Dave, Prayers up that you heal quickly and 100%. Give me a call if you want to do anything before then... I'm going to be camping this Sunday at Tea Creek Campground ... Weather permitting... 28 April? Hummmmmmmm... I wanted to put electric over hydraulic brakes on my bunkhouse for my trip out west... and Bunkhouse headquarters is just 5 hours away...
  12. Hope you heal fast Chuck. Prayers up for a speed recovery. On the bright side, the brake lever is no where near as hard to pull, as the clutch lever.
  13. Jeff, I welded a bike rack to my hitch to take my mountain bike along. Ride the entire 10 miles effortlessly (trip back is level but last 3? miles are slightly up hill). Best fishing in WV... Good to hear from you Dan! Going up after Easter for a couple days. This weather makes me want to camp. I don't know if he is going to do another one this year... What about a repeat this year Dave_wells?
  14. No problem Jeff. I missed you all as well. Will make them this year. Did a lot of camping/fishing at Tea Creek campground last year.
  15. And I truly am sorry about that... I've got a GPS now!
