Going to Lake Moultrie in South Carolina first week in December. This is the time of year to land +50 lb flathead catfish. Going to take my 18' pontoon boat. Hopefully those long legged lake flies aren't out. last time we had to come in as there was millions of them and we got swarmed.

Yes, very grateful the good lord looked over us and gave us another relatively good year and good health. Looking forward to this spring. I haven't rode to the Florida keys in years and am thinking March would be the time to go. Happy Thanksgiving!

Good to see some familiar names. Haven't been riding much since YAMMERDANS and BRAKEPADS accident(s) but that's about to change. Wife was informed Tuesday that she had Covid so now Penny, Aunt Mary and I are home quarantined for the next 10 days. I renewed my membership today(damn 4 years went by quick) and look forward to catching up. I scored a fuel tank gauge pod for my Venture a while back and am going to order the gauges for it. I believe someone on this site actually made them. I dropped fascist book and twitter, but can be found under my name in Mewe.com.

Haven't been on here for awhile. Dan ask me to go with him to pick up his new trike a few weeks ago. I couldn't go due to my eldest daughters wedding. Then I learn of his passing, while out riding the BRP. Really let the air out of me. Prayers up to Dan, the Woods family and Skid.

Congratulations on the "job change". I use to say I retired 12 years ago but realized I'm working much harder now than ever. If you're in reasonably good health you could get CIGNA health insurance. I'm paying $530 a mouth which is almost half as much as what I was paying BC/BC. You will find it is much more rewarding working for yourself. I believe he has a 1 7/8" ball coupler on it now. It's bent up and can't be used, so he ordered an new one. As they are only $7.99 at Harbor Freight, I don't see why it just couldn't be swapped out with a 2" ball coupler, they are only held on with 2 bolts. ************* OR ************ They use to sell 1 7/8 balls with a 3/4" shank and a bushing that made the shank 1". That would probably be easier to swap out and send down the line.

As My daughter lives in Jacksonville, Fl and is having a baby in Feb. I will be traveling down to Florida a lot this year. If we can get it closer (to the east coast) I will bring it the last leg.

Absolutely! There are still a few hold outs but there always was. Us country boys never did change though, it's always been "Merry Christmas". So glad this "PC" thing is on it's way out. Was at the Pittsburgh VA Thursday with the wife and virtually all of the staff were wishing Merry Christmas to the patients.

They got the road opened at Tea Creek back in June. Normally come in thru Cowen, but when the road was closed had to go thru Richwood, past southern Cherry River. I'm taking the bicycles so I can get to all the good fishing spots...

I can see a time in the not to distant future when I drop Facebook altogether. If you are spending more than 15 min a day on it, you're getting programmed. A good percentage of their content is just plain wrong and the rest is tilted. I use the internet and Fox news to get my news, not, Facebook.

I see now. Was only looking in camping section. Perhaps that is a possibility... although I would need a way haul bike and bunkhouse as I'm not going to be pulling the trailer with my bike.
