  2. Am not sure myself....not been feeling too good lately. Get bouts of dizziness sometimes, so MC is out of question. Am thinking of caging it most likely Friday, and come back home late Saturday. Will keep an eye open on this thread, and all depends on how I am feeling Friday morn. Wouldnt mind joining any biking group.
  3. Good thing there wasn't heavy traffic....cause the male rider...errr...runner could easily have been rear en......i mean, rear ended!...and THAT wouldn't have been very pleasant. Sorry if i went overboard with that one......couldn't help it...... Glad to hear both survived.
  4. I didnt delete my message....just hid it....
  5. wish i had seen your post earlier...could have made it.
  6. Yeah, Congratulations to Don and Nancy and thanks for inviting us all to celebrate the important occasion. 8. 71 0N 1 St Of Aug.....plan on riding couple of years more. God must be laughing, going by somebody here, whose signature says... Tell God your plans if you want to make him laugh.....or something along those lines.
  9. Happy Anniversary to you two.
  10. I was 65 when this thread originated in 2009.
  11. Have a safe trip, Ben.
  12. Not a pleasant story to read, Tooch, but glad to hear you still around. Not a good feeling to go through, as many of us have experienced, too, but you will get over it. Take care, friend
  13. Praying and hoping you get better soon,Dan......so we can send you back to your corner.
  14. Tuftom4 has a right to form an opinion about Harley riders from his experiences with Harley riders he has come across. Ofcourse not all Harley iders are snobbish cause many of them won't wave back at you, but cause of that kind of attitude some of us form some kind of resentment towards Harley riders, and I for one, never initiate a wave if I come across a Harley rider, and I will never go over to Harley guys to strike a conversation at coffee stops, but I feel comfortable to go over to any non Harley riders. Of course I have very good friends thatride Harleys. So please no one tell me I am wrong in my thinking....yes, I do judge people by their appearances and their behavior.
  15. Did test ride once few yrs back. Engine heat cooked my calfs and groin hurt from the wide legged sitting stance. Was a thrill, though, riding it. Was 2 speed auto transmission. Too pricey. Was about 40 or 45 grands, then.
  16. Was just implying that Carl should have asked u about your sleeping habits...you know....some people like to sleep nekid...
  17. I would have one more question for the Rooster, Carl......unless you don't mind someone sleeping with you in the same room nekid???
  18. Sorry to hear about this, Wayne. No...never mind the brother in law...............THE BIKE! My ......i mean.....the pretty bike! Hope you can make it pretty again, like it was. This IS sad to hear, but these things happen, man. These bikes are monsters and i would be very wary to lend it to any one, who has never rode one before. Hope and wish you find all the parts you need....and believe me, i know how you must be feeling about it all.
  19. Happy Anniversary to you guys..
  20. Nice bike, John...looking forward to see it in person.
  21. If one likes to go riding often,we got no choice but to join some local clubs.Unless you like riding alone.i have joined 3 local clubs and i have a choice of going riding at least a couple of times a week. Rides are posted on their sites, and i just pick the one i like, and just show up at the meeting point.Have met lots of wonderful people and made some good friends. Lots of fun with fellows who like riding like you do. stopping at Coffee shops...yeah, u all know what i am talking about...and lunching at small town restaurants etc. We have a good bunch of people in and around Ontario...Bongobob being one of them, belonging to Ventureriders, and we do meet a few times a year during season, as well as off season...thanks to people like Carl and Ben, who usually take the initiative. The annual Marcarl meet is the big one we always look forward to....A NOT TO BE MISSED ANNUAL EVENT.
  22. Happy birthday!
