R i p, darrell. abdul. below is one of darrell's recent posts... I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers, some of you I know others I do not not. A mans wealth is not in money but in his family, friends and health. Just so you all know this started with a cough In Sept, I thought it was a cold and so looked after it like I had done many times before. Finally went to the family doc said it was broncitis after a couple of meds nothing doing. To make things short through catscan etc they thought TB, Lung Cancer or this other diease. Well now the cancer Doctors thinks the cough and all the other stuff is a by product of Kidney Cancer. There will be more test coming to make sure this is it. Yes I'm worried but it is in someone's higher hands as well as the docs. Thanyou again for your support. and NO no one can borrow my new Bushtec. Darrell

A Newfie was terribly overweight, so his doctor put him on a diet. 'I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5 pounds.' When the Newfie returned, he shocked the doctor by having lost nearly 60lbs! 'Why, that's amazing!' the doctor said, 'Did you follow my instructions?' The Newfie nodded...'I'll tell you though, Lord thunderin' Jesus, I t'aut I were going to drop dead on dat 3rd day.' 'From the hunger, you mean?' asked the doctor. 'No, from the ****in' skippin'

Rectifier location?
chabicheka replied to a topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
One that rectifies: a rectifier of many wrongs. i am assuming...you mean a mechanic... well...friend...it all depends what part of your '86 the 'rectifier' is working on at any given time. he could be under it, or over it, on the left side,or the right side. On the other hand, he could be nowhere near the '86 if he decides to take a coffee break... hope i have answered your question to your satisfaction... -
How do you take these? Take one picture and move three inches to the right and take another? thanks, Lynn. works good. you got the right idea as to how it was taken. i dont think the distance is too critical between the 2 shots. approx 3-5 inches should be good. i held the camera against the sliding door facing the backyard...took first pic, then slid the door a bit to the left, and took the second shot....holding the camera in the same spot. avoid tilting the camera from one pic to the other.

i tried it, took a couple of pics of backyard, and it worked perfectly. just didnt know how to put the pics side by side on the computer, so i printed them on the printer, and laid them next to each other. here they are...can anyone work with them? ( putting them side by side?)

sorry about the accident. may you two heal quick and well. had one of those myself couple of years ago. it sure feels good to come out of such accidents alive. recovered and am riding again. just take it easy during the healing process and don't try to rush into riding again.
-
sorry to hear about your misfortune, brad... hope and wish everyone heals well and fast. you guys take it easy, and as mentioned by others...try and fight that ticket. its not the amount for the ticket you should be worried about...its the goddamn insurance companies raising their rates when one has a few tickets. they are like vultures preying on the unfortunate ones. :sign **** happens:

May Alan rest in peace. Had the fortune of meeting Alan at the very first meeting Rooster had organized in kitchener to prepare for the kitchener meet. Very polite gentleman. Too bad didn't get to meet him again after that. Wish the people he left behind, courage to bear his loss.We all have to take that long ride someday. we will remember him in our prayers.

sure we are getting stuff cheap from there....as well as lots of minimum wage jobs. the people that loose better paying jobs from the competition have to work somewhere, for a living. we can all cheer wallmart now, for providing cheap foreign goods to the north american consumer. but wait till all the competition is gone. then the monster is going to turn around and take a chunk off our rear end. and we will have nowhere else to run to. solution...? no...i dont have one. hopefully i will be dead by then, and leave the worrying to others. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. oh, and for christmas gifts....visit your local WALLMART STORE.

if seeing nothing is sign of old age...then i think i am officially OLD.

hey brad... if all fails....you could try taping up a piece of white cardboard to the right side of your monitor.
