chabicheka replied to Marcarl's topic in Watering Hole
a file??... is it any good for people that don't have a gps? if i know the route and can meet you guys somewhere, i wouldn't mind joining you guys somewhere along the route. would you have approximate times too, at different locations? thanks. -

its an age thing. there is no way around it. no doubt all the suggestions given, help a bit but its natures way of telling you to take a break. in my younger days i could have ridden a bike with a 'wooden seat' for the whole day, but things have changed with age. i have a similar problem too, and one of the reasons why i don't think of taking very long trips. listen to your body. everybody can't run marathons. more so as they age. enjoy riding while you can and be careful out on the road. our reflexes are not as good as they used to be either.

chabicheka replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)

very sad news... had the fortune of meeting the man a few times. a gentleman. i always appreciated people like him and bongobob and squidley and others who crossed the border to come into canada and make and meet friends whenever we have a meet and eat be it in winter or summer. our condolences to mrs Gorom and all family members and friends. MAY GOD REST JAMES'S SOUL IN PEACE. abdul&shah.

the LORD'S got better things to do than attend to carl's swollen knee, or whatever else is swollen........ the Lord gave carl brains to use. what was carl doing on the baseball field at his age? he should be sitting in the stands looking after his grand children while the youngsters play....or be a towel boy or fetch the balls when they get lost in the tall grass.....make sure there's enough ice in the coolers etc...etc...:sign **** happens:

what 'bigfoot' above, said. this ones a fairy tale and has been circulating around for a while on the internet, with slightly different variations. don't know what purpose this type of emails accomplishes, besides making people not trust each other. just use your commonsense, people, when you are out there, or just stay home, safe, and watch T V where they tell you how to spend your hard earned money. http://www.snopes.com/horrors/madmen/hairyarm.asp

when you guys with lots of time on your hands are done with this one.....you can come up with answers for my question... why do some people whistle tunes ?? and dont expect responses from me...'cause i am going out riding my bike....and maybe i will snap my throttle at the lights while waiting for them to turn green.

1st Gen trunk question
chabicheka replied to 84xj1100's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
oh yeah.....don't forget to test your work after you are done, by riding through a car wash. -
you same height and weight as me. i have an 89 venture too. and find a bit of a challenge riding it. especially at slow speeds or riding around town. so i got myself a honda shadow ace 1100. lots of fun riding it and i don't have to be cautious all the time about riding it, like i do when i ride the venture. do try it out, though. if you are physically strong, it may not be that big an issue.....good luck and welcome to 'venturerider.org'. abdul.

chabicheka replied to Squidley's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
hey...part of the reason i bought the " bumble bee" and parked the 89 venture is so i can be with my friends and not AHEAD of them when we go riding together.- 30 replies
