  1. :banana:Going tro Niagara Falls on Saturday morning and coming back sunday....family trip.....wave if you see me somewhere! Will mainly be on QEW. May stop at Casablanca sometime after noon, but not sure of timing. Enjoy your day. Weather going to be good.
  2. Just seeing this post...hope u had a happy birthday, Evan.
  3. Any plans of a get together guys? Please post here if there is...thanks.
  4. Sorry, seeing this now. I did go to Wasaga. Didn't know about the Yamaha Booth, so didn't look for them, and missed seeing the bike!
  5. Its a 'touring' bike made for comfortable long distance riding...and some might think its 'anemic'....so what? Buy and ride what YOU like. Every one doesn't have to like someone else's wife, eh?
  6. Nothing more for me to add, after what has already been posted. I thoroughly enjoyed the four days I spent with you guys in and around Minden....every minute of it. Man, that Slingshot drew lots of attention wherever we went. Looked like even the bugs residing in Minden had all converged at Southwind Campsite to celebrate the presence of the Slingshot.....and of course they had to eat and drink, to our detriment....and they seemed to have a liking for brown skin, for some reason, to feast on. Hey, Carl...I didn't give u my photo memory card to use my personal picture. To clarify to all...that pic of me wasn't even taken at the event. actually I was just checking out my camera and getting used to it, while taking a s***, at home. As for the dates on some pics...it needs to be set right. We missed Ben, for sure. Did think of you many times, friend. Appreciate a lot, the warmness I felt from ALL that were there. Enjoyed our ride to Minden from Mt Albert, Rob. Was good to see again after a long time, Larry and Joyce. New people I met, Ed and his better half,( sorry am bad with names) Paul (Grez007), and Rob. As always was great to meet the regulars..Carl,Marca, Don ( too bad Nancy didn't make it),Phil (Sleepy2), Mike and his better half ( the knitting wizard), Evan and Anne. Hey Anne, you are always welcome to ride on the high seat on my trike,or whenever u get tired of looking at the back of Evans neck. : ) Looking forward to the next one. Chabicheka the
  7. Wishing you quick recovery. Wont be the same with you not there. Was hoping to keep you awake with my snoring... : ) your site being close to mine. Abdul.
  8. I think Ben's making more sense than you are... You picking me up too?? Okay... I know the place, but what about Sleepy, and maybe others? 80 Front Street East is the adderess as per post by Evan.
  9. Hoping to attend and meet the guests from down under....and, the locals too, of course.
  10. My condolences to Nancy and family members. Abdul.
  11. May Mr Russell rest in peace.
  12. Never been there...but I guess you will be seeing lots of deadwood?
  13. I was paying 1300.00 for the very same bike here in Toronto. I guess Wizard765 is paying less cause he is in a smaller town. And don't forget...we only get to ride about 6 months, compared to some guys in the States, who can ride them year round. We really getting the shaft here in Canada. Spineless politicians are in the pocket of Insurance companies, I guess.
  14. Good to hear, Tooch.Hope to see you and the bike soon.
  15. Couldnt resist...weather perfect for riding over the weekend here in Toronto area....and riding i did. Wet, some areas with road salt, but just hosed down the bike before parking it. Yes, but as Venturous Randy says...be extra careful.
  16. We been okay in southern Ontario. Reasonable amount of snow this winter. Freezing rain this afternoon, and sidewalks are very slippery. Hey....we are in Canada.
  17. Sounds like a Soup Making Contest .... What gets me is, why everyone decide to guzzle lots of beer when the contest is on.
  18. Get well soon, Canadian Brother.....I believe you mentioned in your old posts, that you lived in Canada for a while, if my memory serves me well.
  19. That's great news, Puc. It's great becoming grand parents. Pics please when you can. :cool10:
