not so bad in toronto area....a regular snowy day as far as i am concerned. took a couple of hours to clear the driveway. did take my time. didnt want to be found lying on the snow face down by passer bys. news media over hyped the storm. they even closed all schools in the city, which i think was overkill.

either the damn deer were very thick skinned, or the bullets were too old... but then i figured why kill the poor deer if i wont be able to get any meat??

congratulations to would be grandparents! what a coincidence...our daughter in law just emailed us this pic....they want it to be a surprise too...re boy or girl. May be our in house expert PB@J can tell us what its going to be. due in june. looking forward to being grand parents...

Never met your dad, Ben.....from how you describe him, i wish i had. I can only judge him through knowing you, and i feel he's done a pretty good job of bringing you up. Am proud to have a friend like you and i am sure your dad must have been pretty proud of you too. You take care now, my friend and may god give you health and strength to take care of your mom and your family. Chabicheka.....( your mom must be wondering what planet i must be coming from with a name like that!)

I would try HOME HARDWARE stores. they used to stock this item. I think i did buy a package at one one of the marcarl meets. never used it, so might be lying around somewhere. will let u know if i find it. abdul.

Got back from the show. Not bad as i had expected. Was well worth it, i think, this time. Met Evan at the meeting place we had decided on, right on time, and chated for a while. Ray wasn't able to make it, due to some emergency, but he did call to let us know. Wasn't planning on getting anything, but the wallet felt a lot lighter on my way out. Took lots of pictures, which i will try and post soon. The damn battery went dead on me later in the evening, but i think i did get some good and interesting pictures. There was a big crowd for a friday. Its probably going to be crazy on sat. Good luck to the guys that are planning on going sat. Lots of used as well as new bikes at the show. Custom bike area was pretty impressive, as well as the older ( vintage?) area. Lots of shops seling their wares. The usual helmets,jackets,accessories,trailers,campers,sunglasses etc etc. All in all, was well worth it. Abdul.
