What a great day we had today...at least I did...spending time with old and new friends at our annual get together. Beautiful Venue, thanks to Bernie and Dave for offering their place to host it this year, due to circumstances we all are aware of. Went for a beautiful ride after nice bbq lunch, with a stop at a Gelato ice cream place...experienced couple of miracles this time. NO U TURNS and not a drop of rain, though rain was called for in the forecast. Thank you all for their time and hard work to make this happen. Was real nice to meet you all again, and what an honor it was to meet Mr Scott ( Puc) in person. For those that couldn't make it this time around, do try next year...you wont regret it. Always a pleasure spending the day with these lop eared varmints, eh..Puc? Pictures to follow as soon as I am rested from all the excitement. few more to follow....

Hello, new here. Have a question about the ride height on my VR.
chabicheka replied to Terry Love's topic in Watering Hole
I always felt that way about my 89 Venture. Got myself a Kawasaki Nomad and I was really happy I did. Started enjoying my riding instead of worrying about dropping the bike, especially in parking lots and at stops. -
Larry and Joyce... Very sorry to hear of Buddy's passing away....and I know how it pains to lose our pets after living with them for over 15 years. I still tear up when I think of my 'Chewy' who I lost about a couple of years ago. Hopefully things will get better for us with time. Take care, you two. abdul.

Very sorry to hear that, Don. Thought you were coming up with some kind of joke, when I read the title.... You both are wonderful people and i have always been proud to know you and being friends with you two. Don't know what to say, but I wish you both a happy future ahead of you...and I still hope you guys work it out, if at all possible. Abdul.

Hey Bob....no problem at all, if you already got one. I have a buyer who has been bugging me to sell it to him, right here. Hopefully will see you at the Ontario rally...if I am not in Africa again. Have to attend a wedding there first week of July. Not sure how long I will be staying there. Hope you and Becky are well. Please give her my regards. Thanks.

We won't be at Saddlebum's M&E but if Father Time does another March one we will probably be at that one. I will pay you in person!

My bike likes to be on top....as some had witnessed at the first Marcarl meet.......

That wouldn't be an issue to Don....having owned a Harley (Don't they assemble them in India too?) a while back. Should be used the curry smell.

Sorry to hear, friend...Hoping things work out for you. Abdul.

Wonderful evening shared with friends. Excellent buffet place...very tasty food. Thanks, Ben...and thanks Don, for very good pics, regardless of low lighting in the place. Was good to see you all...aged from a 10/12 year old to a 125 yrs old guy! Sorry didn't get to say bye to you when leaving, Carl...but you were too busy when I left. This extreme cold and snow will soon be over, and we will meet again soon.
-
I thought you were already 125!
-
We don't really have to do it in this cold. Just testing the battery will be good enough for now. Then if needed, I can do it once I get back home. Has never let me down, so far.
-
Thanks, Ben...I will try. Will call you before I leave home. If u don't hear from me, then we meet at Restaurant.
-
Thanks,Carl. You are right. I will do that soon. Battery has been serving good for 5yrs and it's probably time to change it.
-
Thanks for the boost, Ben. Now I am really charged up! Let's hope my car doesn't need it later saturday night.
-
I am a bit concerned about the cold temperatures too. My car battery really struggles to turn the engine, when it's too cold, and I wouldn't want that to happen in Burlington after the dinner.Temperature supposed to be close to -20 C around that time. So if I don't show up, you guys enjoy your dinner, and we shall meet another time. If I do feel brave enough to come, I will leave as soon as I finish my dinner, while engine is still a bit warm and not frozen stiff.
-
If you guys don't stop arguing, i may just put my name on, and you guys know, with my 'C', i will be on top of both of you two!
-
Merry Christmas to Everybody.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Lost my companion ****zu of 17 years , last year and those eyes of his still haunt me and tears flow whenever i think of him or see his pic. Hopefully time will heal our pain. Take care.

That's awesome! Congratulations to you two on your 40 th anniversary and getting another puppy.

I love the Nomads....my last 2 wheeler was a 2003 Nomad, and my current is a 3 wheeler Nomad too. Same year and color as the one you bought. Picture taken at Grez007s' place at a recent meet and greet.

Did some riding today. Wasn't so bad...just a bit windy.

I think she made you work, cause you forgot to give her a birthday party, and didn't invite us to celebrate. Wish her a belated happy birthday from the southern Ontario gang.

If I go to the bike show, I wont have any money left for the dinner. Don't know why they charge so much to get in, and walk around like a zombie in my biker vest and chaps, having gone there in my car...( its middle of winter! ) Besides, I don't need any more gloves or helmets.
