  1. Now you have really scared them off, Dave.... Okay...looks like it will be me and Ray. Well...see you all at Carl's, and save some Donuts for us, will you?
  2. Sure you may join us....just wait for us at the corner of Madelein and Lois Cr with the motor running and we all ride from there to your house. and Carl...could you please make sure this thread is in the right place where ALL can read it? thanks. Not sure if Testing Area is the right place for it.
  3. Okkay.....how many out there want to risk their lives riding besides me saturday to Brant for the "Marcarl Meet and Greet and Tell Lies" gathering? Ray has volunteered, so far. All are welcome from near and far...yes, you too, Relic....last time i forgot to mention Relic, had to hear from the , BradT. Thinking of leaving around 9 am, but am open to suggestions. C'mon people...start posting and making suggestions or your intentions. People that come to mind from around here are, Gambler, Trader, Rev'n Ahead of Cavan, Bruno ( The Hat), Dogman, Evan, Ben..if he is done with his breakfast when we get to his place, and Midicat can meet us there too. Who am i forgetting? Excuse me if i have...you will know what i am going through when you get to be may age.
  4. very sorry to hear that. our condolences to all the family members. May her soul rest in peace.
  5. Hey Jim.... i think i screwed up.....please ignore my above post. Now if you have already bought the item....i will take it, but if you havent bought it yet, then DON'T. Again...was very nice of you to offer to help out. We appreciate it. Abdul.
  6. Hi Jim... We would really appreciate it, if you could buy one for us. The item is shown below. I will send the cash with either Don ( i think he is coming to Oberlin), Bongobob, or Carl, when i meet them at the "marcarl meet" in Brantford on the 26 th of this month. Why dont you come over if you have the time? Don can have it, if he wishes, or else i will keep it. Thanks for the offer, and take care. http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/diagnostics/digital-contact-tachometer-66400.html Abdul.
  7. You sure it wasnt the mrs in the passenger seat trying to get you to slow down?
  8. TODAY!? Hey...you tell me when and i will be there.Just dont pick a rainy day. May be Don can come too, and then we can all go for lunch afterwards...
  9. Oil changing is straight forward...but i would love to watch the carbs set, using the Carbtune, cause i got myself one too, from the UK. The wobble i was experiencing, is completely gone now, after i put on a new Dunlop404 tire in the front. What a difference in handling, and NO more wobble....I had Dunlop on, originally, but may be it wasn't wearing out too well.
  10. i hear about fires all the time on tv and radio.....haven't personally seen one in a looong time. :sign **** happens: all the time out there. we can't lock ourselves in the house all the time. But your warning is fair...we all have to be careful...but not fearful.
  11. SCARRY! How ever careful one is...things like this will happen, i guess.
  12. Beautiful looking bike. Hope you get years of enjoyment on it. And please do not take us seriously when we make fun of Harleys...its all in fun. Riding a motor bike is what its all about. Mr Honda, Mr Yamaha, Mr Harley, Mr Kawasaki or Mr Bum..., non of these are my uncles and none sends me a cheque end of year. Its all about personal choices and different bikes fit different people. There is not one ideal bike out there perfect for every one. Glad that you are not abandoning us and have decided to stay here. No need to be sad...you should be happy.
  13. I know the feeling....was behind one of those almost for the whole day yesterday when i went for a group day ride with some friends....it was a yamaha roadstar with after market pipes, though....
  14. If anything or an opinion a person posts is going to be criticized by others, people will stop making posts here. Spear has every right to voice his opinion here without someone pouncing on him for being harsh. Deaths occur every where all the time, and we cant expect people from the other end of the world to feel sad or sorry about it. I wouldn't care less about some one dying in a sky diving incident some where in Australia...though, i can PRETEND, to care... i too thought it a bit odd about some one throwing in the bit about 'being a church goer' in the incident...what has that got to do with the accident? is a church goer such a rarity these days, that when we find one, we have to beat the drums about it? We have Moderators here, and if there is anything not appropriate here, i am sure they can take care of it....like this post here...:bang head:
  15. we wish your grandson a quick recovery.
  16. Mine does the same thing, Trader...tried it today. its probably normal. Similar effect you get if you swung a fishing rod left and right...
  17. Very sorry friend....may her soul rest in peace.
  18. A guy walks into a bar with a dog. "This dog is the smartest dog in the world." he says to the bartender. "He can answer any question." "Oh yeah?" says the bartender. "Prove it!" The man turns to his dog, and asks, "What is over our head? " "Roof!" "How does bark feel?" "Ruff!" "Who is the greatest baseball player who ever lived?" "Ruth!" The bartender, growing tired of the show, throws the man and his dog out of the bar. The dog then turned to the man and asked, "Should I have said Joe Dimaggio?"
  19. awesomme!
  20. I think i am going to do a 'PAINTERMAN' too...
  21. Warden and I.... For a second there, i thought you had some good nooz... but everyone seems to be congratulating you... so i figured i might as well.
