  1. Good point, Brad....but not worth the hastle. I would have to use a gallon worth of gas to go to their place, where as canadian tire is in my neighbourhood. Besides, how often do we use Seafoam? I just buy 3 or 4 cans when they go on sale at CT. Hey...Trader and Don...
  2. You are right about that...i have bought them for similar price from them, but you never get to know when they go on sale. you have to go to the shop every now and then to check. Their regular price is similar to Canadian Tires.
  3. Beautiful picture. did it need a bit of editing or is it a straight, unretouched shot?
  4. A man goes deer hunting for the first time and shoots a deer. He decides to clean and serve the deer meat for supper. But, knowing his children are fussy eaters and sentimental about animals, he doesn't tell them what they're getting. His little boy, Jimmy, keeps asking "What's for supper dad?" "You'll see", he replies. That evening his daughter continues to badger him about the delicious meat they're all eating. "Ok", says her father, "Here's a hint. It's what your mother sometimes calls me." The daughter screams... "Don't eat it Jimmy! It's an arsehole!"
  5. Man....if all you are concerned about, right now, is the helmet....the head must have hit the pavement real hard. Sorry, couldnt help it.. Worry about the body right now and hope you get well soon and back on a bike.
  6. Unions or not....that is the main aim of corporations, anyway. Have everyone work for minimum wage while CEOs and shareholders make millions. Oh...and "consider youself lucky" ( they keep reminding us) if you can get one of THOSE ( minimum wage) jobs. We will soon be kissing boots of these people for food, never mind minimum pay. Boy am i glad i am retired....

  11. I joined up a queue last week figuring its for people who want to vote early... Half an hour in the queue later comes my turn, and i said i want to vote! Want to exercise my right to vote, and being a good citizen, here i am! The beautiful lady sets two paper cups in front of me, with some liquid in them, and said " here, you have to drink these to vote" Now me having hit the senior citizen barrier a few years ago, with my smarts, didn't fall for the trick and hightailed it out of there. There was no way i was going to toxify myself before casting such important vote! Now when did this silly rule come about? and is there a way of getting around it?
  12. Takes a bit of time to get used to the idea of NOT working...but once you get through that, you will just love it. May have to make a few adjustments in lifestyle and spending money, but hey...we have done it all during our working life, so just relax and enjoy whats left of your life. Working a few days a week is not a bad idea either. Greed is what makes people unhappy. Live a simple life and thank god for what you have. :ice_congrats-vi6886and :wel_ani3Tay: to the club.
  13. Regardless of what vehicle you drive, stick to vegetable oil for all your cooking needs.

  24. :scratchchin:I tend to agree with the president of the club....that's why i have three vests.. Just like perfumes...wear the one, the person you are going out with, likes. Or like sports teams...similar uniform so you don't get confused with members of the other team.. Just my opinion....and i am right 50 percent of the times.
  25. Okay....here's the first one. Had to be quick...you're not allowed to wear anything over the prisoner's uniform...get to spend the night in a 4'x4' room with no windows if one gets caught doing that..
