Dang! Working from 8-8 today. I will be at Village Pointe Toyota at 181st and West Dodge. That's the interstate coming in from Fremont so I'm right on Northwest edge of town. Let me know when and you can just stop by there and we can at least meet each other talk about it. I'll p.m. you my phone number Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Would be nice if there were captions on the photos for the new part of the family to see who it is that's so smart and helpful and patient with all of us Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I set front and rear at 40. Seems to help but now my clutch is slipping so I'm going to have to replace a stack I guess Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

If I was there I'd be asking why my 83 doesn't always want to shift from 1st to 2nd orb3rd or anything other than coasting back down and then I can JAM/SLAM IT BACK to first then goes through gears just fine? Maybe one out of seven starts from a stop. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I went from 29 tob32 lbs. in the front and 40 fromn35 in the rear. Did the flop test and he/she passed perfectly. These seemingly minor adjustments did help to straighten out the Elongated Body wobble. Rode 150 miles and noticeably better. Wasn't nearly as hot out yesterday though. Have I mentioned that she might be he? Guess that's why I'm having such a hard time coming up with a name Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Yep. And the headlight is fine and rlu bypassed and all my reservoirs are full. The fuel gauge has never been accurate. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -

RLU BYPASS question

Or that... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -
Around the middle part of the country here, the cool guys like me don't really wave so much as we stick a couple fingers out in a knee-high, sideways peace signish acknowledgement of each other. When my son was still young enough to ride two up with me, I made sure and explained that it was his job to do the waving. He took it as a huge responsibility and really got a kick out of doing it and feeling like he was part of some conspiracy or something Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

RLU BYPASS question
s.tyler58 replied to s.tyler58's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Red light blinks continuously. Always has. I have a battery indicator that comes on and off sometimes but I do have a maintenance free battery with no vent hose. I've been through the wiring enough times on this thing and never have found a wire or anything leading to a battery or sensor or anything like that. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -
Bed liner material would probably work better (No, you bunch of old man lop-eared varmints, I do not mean bed liners like the plastic matress protection sheets you're having to use as you get older) Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I was thinking along those same lines also that it would cover a multitude of sins. And stick very well without a lot of serious prep Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I haven't heard anyone comment on that tire gauge but that looks like it would really be much easier than what I'm doing. You should go ahead and put a review on the AutoZone site. I like that price range and unless someone has a better idea and just hasn't spoken up yet I'm open to suggestions. I've got a question about tires. I'm running Shinko tour Masters. 32 pounds front tire, 35 to 39 generally in the rear. I ride one up at about 170 lb. A small cooler and Necessities in the rear trunk in a few like rain gear stuff in the bags. Out on the road, no hands at 60 or up to 95 for miles if I wanted to. But lately, and usually at least half an hour into a ride, when I'm riding through the small towns from 65 miles per hour and then downtown cruising through town at maybe 25-30 miles per hour it's like trying to ride on the edge of a razor blade, or someone trying to cross a high wire. It seems like it's almost impossible to hold a straight line, straight up at lower speed. I've had the bike up on the center stand and lash the center stand so it wouldn't collapse and lifted the front of the engine with a floor jack and I can't shake anything in the triple horn. I've done some breaking and pulling and pushing with the front brake locked up and can't get any play whatsoever. It turns very simply there's no binding there's no warn feeling to anything there hey hey hey hey hey hey hey ( I'm going to leave the previous sentence to show you what happens when you're dictating and your little dog runs off to see the mailman.) I guess so that you have all the information, a lot of this riding has been taking place with temperatures of 93 to 95 degrees and above. So my question is could this just be me as an old man that gets tired or is it a hot pavement hot Tire circumstance? Crap I also have the rear shock set on the number 2 with 28 lb in it. I'm running no air in my Progressive Springs. And also at high speeds I find myself wobbling just like not as straight as it seems should be possible. Imagine your swimming motion we always talk about only it takes a quarter mile to finish the motion. just a gentle back and forth back and forth it's not like your head moves but your wheels are moving back and forth from the waste down, like they don't want to stay within 3 inches either side of center. Let's call it a very extended bike wobble not body lean. Could it be the balance? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I pay at the pump. Whenever I use my card in an unusual place or more than a hundred miles from home the card always ask me for my ZIP code to verify that it's me. I used to carry prepaid Visa cards. For online purchases or gas you can use the prepaid and it's not tied to any of your other accounts or information because it's just a card you picked up at Walmart and put a balance on. "Don, We have geeks, relay zealots, and now Ipleedthe5th is bringing fuel injection to the 1st gens after his initial airbox mod for universal filters. With all our resources could the forum produce a mechanical waving hand accessory and market it to all riders?" Forget that nonsense! When are we going to start 3D printing plastic parts! Today I rode up to Vermillion South Dakota. 332 Mi round trip. Started at 7 a.m. returned home at 1:10 p.m. . Started the ride at 65 degrees end of the ride at 95 degrees. Highway 12 and Highway 22 in North East Nebraska is one of the highest rated scenic drives in our state. I didn't get to spend much time exploring around the area but pretty much just dashed to it and Back Again. I just spoke to a neighbor who's a pilot and he flies into Vermillion South Dakota to deer hunt and told me about some blacktop roads along the river that I need to check out next time I'm up there. That's Chaharly's stomping grounds! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Do you know why farmers always wait until the last second to pull out in front of you? They're waiting to see if they recognize you and therefore need to wait so they can wave to you or if they don't recognize you and don't need to wave still just jump on the gas and go in front of you.
