Hazzard a guess?

Well old Pucster, you were half right. It was expensive but it runs and sounds wonderful. Everything is solid and safe. No new brake line for the master cylinder to the rear brake lever because it's like banjo on one end and almost an automotive set up on the other end and they don't make it anymore. Anybody got one around? Now I've got her back home tearing it down to clean it up I've got some Dash issues to work on like a headlight that will either give me low or high beam. Be driving along with the low beam on and it goes out and I get a headlamp warning light. Flip it to high beam and it works fine. Hit another bump later on and the high beam goes out and the warning light comes on, switched back down to low beam and it's fine. And I'm going to have to do that gas gauge soldering in the dash. Sure wish I had left and right fairing turn signal lenses. Then I wouldn't hesitate to paint it. But '18 is for riding not painting. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -
Last Thursday my shop here did not exist. Instead of riding in 15 below, I spent my hours putting this together. Time to start tearing down, cleaning up, replacing clutch springs, repairing plastic. Painting frame. Would it be sacrilege to paint her silver? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Well originally I had planned on good boots good gloves and my helmet. Only. But then I remembered that I don't drink anymore... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Sure. Thanks. I just ran up here from home to do a little tinkering and reality set in with just the minor exposure of warming the car and driving 7 miles. It's dang cold. It makes 55° feel like a gorgeous afternoon in March. " OK Google, how long does it take for eyeballs to freeze in in -18 degree temperatures?" Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

It's inside my office / Depot so it's sitting at 68 degrees. I'll warm her up real good inside and then take the lap down to the corner and back. Would equal about six blocks on a normal street. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

There's a bank with time and temperature on it a mile and a half away but I'm not man enough for that Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Okay so it's supposed to get down to 18 below zero tonight. Streets are dry but Gravely. How far or how fast the guide need to ride the venture to make it official if I want to ride in 15 degree below zero temperature just to say I did it? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I would have interest in what ever Ed doesn't need. Mine's maroon but my parts are rough on the fairing and the side covers. And both saddlebags leak. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

"The age of the salesman is dying. People are numb due to the likes of telemarketers and beggers on every corner and most salesman I come across would rather be a vulture that swoops in after you've already made up your mind and the bell on the counter has woken them up." It's not all about the salesman. And I have to admit that if I have to go to the parts counter at the dealership I'm intimidated as hell. But the way life is now, the art of negotiation is seen as intimidation and today's buyer is happy with the price that they pay after checking five web pages. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I agree with this statement, "What we have is cool and fun and genuine and appealing," he said. "Everyone who does it knows how great it is, and how fun it is. What we're trying to do here shouldn't be impossible." Couple that with the comment about the bubble wrap generation and how do you reach them. I can put on my VR headset and take a trip anywhere I want right on my couch. But it's even more fun in my office chair because it moves and Spins. How do we get that generation out on the road? I am so riddled with ADHD I can't get through a 40 second conversation without hijacking it in one way or another. I rode what's most likely the last trip of the year today. Got clutch slipping in 4th and up. Ordered new Springs, going to tackle that myself. Tomorrow it's supposed to be near 50 again so I'll use that time to load up my shop in the garage & move it to my heated shop in my office. I bought my lift from Harbor Freight. I'm ready to start wrenchin' on my own. Was a good ride. I did something I rarely do and didn't put any music in my ears. Everything sounded great. I really like these Roadstar pipes. You purists probably wouldn't like riding with me cuz she's loud. But I like that. And she sounds badass wink. Oh and the collector was fine. He said something about the connections needing sealed up. The stock Mufflers were crumbs inside. My handlebars seem to be in different position than what I was accustomed to. Or at least think I was accustomed to. It's good to have brakes! After the summer with very very poor braking, even the stock brakes on this first gen feel good. First couple hundred miles without getting asphyxiated by a fuel leak or leaking exhaust! Lookout snyper. You'll be having a dude looking for a place to put his tent in your yard next spring. Now to tear the body apart and start working on plastic again. Ok, here's a question. I have foot boards on this bike. The shift lever rotates 45 degrees when shifting the front lever on the rocker up. Reverse shift pattern so that would be from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd... The rocker arm is tight on the shaft. The entire shaft rotates almost 1/4 turn. This makes it impossible to use the rear lever of The Rocker because it's below the footboard when that starts to move. It's still shifts fine but I never know where that front of the shifter will be when I need to engine brake or start slowing down its I'm going to kill myself. How many thousands of dollars am I looking at now? I could try to make a video if you think that that would help. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

He's a poovanese. Or Havapoo. Havanese and toy poodle mix. Havanese is cute and friendly, poodle gives him some brains. I kind of rescued him from a pretty shady breeder at 14 weeks old. Turns out, according to my daughter, buddy did more to rescue me Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I haven't spent the night outside of the umbrella of city lights in many years. I need to get out and regain some perspective. There aren't many married men that just decide that it's a nice day and take off at the drop. I'm not whining. I got a pretty good gig goin'. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I ride one up. May give a little thrill ride to someone occasionally. Haven't ridden with even another bike for quite some time. Hoping to meet some friends this summer when she's running more reliably. Haven't seen an attractive, age appropriate woman in 10 years. Been divorced 15. I don't know what love is supposed to look like at 60. I know how to fall in love at 30 or 17 but... I tried match a year ago, almost made me suicidal to see how many 300 pound snugglers are attracted to a skinny guy. When you've spent years together and you've grown into your shapes together, you love each other and don't notice. Shouldn't a mature woman who wants to find a good man have a little more interest in her appearance? Many people's first reaction is that I'm too picky and need to settle. I'm not settling. I know that no matter what I will know love perfected when I get to my next destination. That faith Makes most days tolerable. Having hired a beautiful 26 year old, single girl makes life looks like it's supposed to be more fun. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Out of the entire country, we get the one little band of snow rain mix this morning. At least they won't be spreading salt and sand yet today as it should dry up in an hour or so. I really should move to Texas. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Here's the only guy in my house who's not happy that my old girl came home yesterday! He says it's because I always lie to him when I say I'm just going out for a quick ride and he doesn't see me again till after Dark. He suspect I may be picking up bad habits starting with lying to him about the time I spend with the old gal! They're working on the bill. Got on her about 3:15. Somehow it took me an hour and a half to go 55 miles. Temperature started out at 54 which wasn't bad. Had to put on some wind pants that I picked up for 15 bucks at Target ( I have to say these things were perfect on the bike. Although they don't breathe well enough to wear around unless it's about 10 below. Crazy how cheap they are). By the time I returned home temperature was down to about 46. My feet were cold because I needed my heavier boots, my fingers were numb because they sweat so bad inside my heavy gloves, and I was starting to get cold across the back of my shoulders. Today sunny and Mild with little wind but a high of 42. Think I'll hang my lowers back on there put on my good boots, throw some warmers under my toes, and experiment with gloves till I find a pair I like. Should I tape a couple hand warmers on my shoulder blades? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

A man walking down the street came across a homeless man with a sign asking for $1.00. The man was disheveled and unwashed, his clothes were a mess, his hair and beard un barbered and unwashed and to say he smelled is being polite! The gentleman stopped and pulled out a $10..00 bill and asked the man. "if I give you this will you spend it on beer?" The homeless man replied "no sir I had quit drinking 10 years ago!" The man then asked" If I give you this will you spend it on fishing gear and bait?" To which the man replies "I haven't going fishing in over a decade" Finally the gentleman asks " If I give you this money will you spend it on a hunting trip?" The homeless man says "No sir I haven't been hunting ages" The gentleman say "Okay here's then $10.. but i'd like to take you home with me and offer you a hot shower and some clean clothes and to have dinner with my wife and I" The homeless guy says "won't your wife be upset?" The gentleman says "she maybe, but I want her to see what I Would look like if I gave up Beer, fishing and hunting" Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I got tired of Pandora without a subscription. I've been using Napster happily for years and share the account with my 22 year old son who uses it all the time. You can have same account in like 3 phones and 3 computers. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
