2010 will be a great year for you Don! Sorry you had a painful Christmas. Like I tell my kids, "It'll make for a better biography: Chapter 12, Free Fall at Christmas"

I love Pearl! My son can't stand her. A beautiful soul cut short. I don't think Janis, Bob Dylan or Neil Young would've gone too far on American Idol but I like 'em all.

Joe Calhoun says we got 16" in Red Lion.

We always put our helmets in the trunk when we park. Primarily because we don't want them to fall off. Usually the trunk isn't even locked. Anyone who stole mine would be disappointed putting my XXXL on their head!

I don't think it even has a cassette deck.

I'm going to post the Gettysburg Spring M&E (I need to come up with a name...) on the Calendar. Please RSVP there so I can keep track of the expected attendance. We'll make it better than last year. I have a few ideas up my sleeve...

OF course we allow North Carolinians! My brother is in Greensboro. Rides a BMW but I'm going to see if he can ride up. Date is TENTATIVE. We just found out that we need to go with my daughter to Richmond one weekend in April. We just don't know which weekend yet.

If that's where you want to go we can give you some tips! Good grades, good SAT and DIVERSITY! They really like people who show some diversity. Our daughter spent time in Tanzania, does work with a local charity and has a lot of church involvement to go with good grades, varsity sports and better than average SAT/ACT.

That's a deal! We now have some new routes to ride!

It's macaroni and cheese and hot dogs for the next four years!

My daughter just got her acceptance letter to the University of Richmond! We have a Spider in the house!

We had a 30 year old furnace a few years ago. Then God blessed us with a flood. 42" of water in the basement. Now, thanks to our flood insurance, we have a two year old furnace in the basement!

I already have cabin fever. If I organize another Gettysburg Spring Meet & Eat, who's in? Had a great time last year. Would love to see everyone again! If you weren't there, Sleeperhawk's Mechanic took some great pics: http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Gettysburg%2020090418/?start=480 It's real early but I need to start thinking about it if I'm going to do it.

My wife knows plenty of diners in the Easton area. You can come down to York and we'll treat you to 'round the clock diner!

Mrs Halfwitt will tell you that sometimes I have a bit of a road rage issue. On two wheels though, I behave myself. We were riding up to the Poconos a few weeks ago and had a potential road rage incident. We were on the cloverleaf from one highway to another. When I'm two up I do tend to be a little more cautious. We were doing about 40 in the curve. Posted was 35. An H-D came up on my tail and on the one lane road, blew past me on the right. Fortunately I saw him and kinda thought he might do something stupid. Had I drfited right at all there would've been chrome and leather all over the place. In a car I probably would've had a one finger response for the guy. Instead I let it go. He wasn't even in that big of a hurry - I stayed 50 yards behind the guy for the next 10 miles. Glad your idiot confrontation didn't result in any, um, issues.

Due to indecisiveness, the prize has been reduced to a great big thanks! But thanks for playing!

Did you ever get that thing running?

Thanks guys! Daughter's tennis season is done - now the tournaments. Then we have two college visits left and life will return to normal. No, wait...still have the guest house to finish remodeling. THEN life will return to normal!

I need to reformat it when I get home. I scanned the actual photo and pasted into a Word doc.

Thanks! I think you may be right. The tank badge looks like it is probably Harley. I've been searching the web for pictures and I can't match it up exactly. Dad sure was a tough looking guy!
