Don't waste your time if you don't like trivia...

Coke or Pepsi is important to some! I don't care but my wife and daughter insist on Pepsi only. If you go to Las Vegas and you care...here is the map for you! http://www.vegastodayandtomorrow.com/coke-or-pepsi.htm -
I vote for dumping that anthem in favor of America the Beautiful or God Bless America.

30 years ago I used to hang out with my friends at Bob's Big Boy in Montrose, CA. They had a cashier that was not too good with the whole math thing. This was before all the computerized cash registers. We would leave and the bill would be, say, $14.27. We would give her something like $22.49 and let her try to figure out correct change. Ah, the good times!

I keep telling my wife that I really should start acting my age. She says, "don't you dare!" Resist the temptation. It's too fun to act the age we want to be.

Which is why I disagreed with applying more front brake. Maybe I got the direction that the rider would fly incorrect. Anyway - not a smart place to pass. Resisting the urge to catch up with his buddies would have avoided the whole mess.

Maybe I need to watch it more than once. I can't from the office but, in my minds eye, he had locked up the rear and was fishtailing. If he would have grabbed more front and locked up the front, wouldn't that have sent him over the top? I guess I should go look at it again.

Nice!!! Does your son need any new friends?

Now snow here yet except for 8" on Halloween. I am hoping that is it for the year! 50* today here in Southern PA. I'm dreaming of a warm Christmas! Just like the ones I used to know (when I lived in Southern California!)

Ditto RedRider. Except for #4. More front may have made it a high-side crash.

I have not been on here in quite a while. No particular reason. I am busy, but aren't we all? I recently went back to school (at 51!) for Web Development and Design. Time for a career change for me. Anyway, I was reading through some of the recent posts and you guys never cease to amaze me by how giving and generous you are. Shame on me for being away so long. I hope I can get together with many of you once I take Betty out of her winter house. Bless all of you! May all of you have a blessed Christmas!! Randy

We've had a couple nice days here in PA but they have been followed up by rainy and cold. I put a new battery in her a couple of weeks ago but there is one more item I need before she comes out of hibernation... My Butler Modified Seats!! They shipped to Rick today. Looking forward to my new ride next week!! My wife is glad we're having crappy weather this weekend because otherwise she would be missing out on good riding weather. Let Spring Begin!

I've been telling myself for years that I need to do it. Now I am registered. I'm taking the "Basic Riding Course 2" (Formerly the Experienced Rider Course) from MSF. It says that a passenger is welcome and since I do a lot of 2-up riding, my navigator will attend also. First opportunity is in May but I'm looking forward to it and hope I don't drop it!!

I have heard so many positive things about Rick Butler's seat mod that I will be doing it as soon as I have funding.

There have been a lot of this type of thing circulate as spam emails in recent years but I can vouch for this one. My cousin's daughter's 2nd grade class is looking for postcards! If you can help by sending one from your area, that would be great and very much appreciated. Thank you for anything you can do! Here are details: Nola's class is asking people to send them postcards from other places. They are going to read the postmark and label that town on their class map. Then they will read the postcard and find out who sent it. If there is information about the place, the town or the state they will learn about that too. If you have an opportunity, could you send a postcard to: Mrs. Larson's Class Clay Central/ Everly Box 110 Royal, Iowa 51357
