As they get older and more miles on em it's harder to get their motors running.

We've got a bet to settle at MD Dan.

Everything is hardwired through the factory audio system. I failed to mention that I have another 12v plug under the seat to charge phones, with the GPS plugged in there it clears up and sounds great. Wiggling the plug in the fairing charge port changes the sound. It may be just the loose connection of plug to port but I think I want to separate the circuits to be sure. Thanks for info.

Just a little background, I have installed an ignition bypass, Bluetooth receiver, Edset's splitter, amplirider, and mic mutes. I used the small connector by the battery for the mic mutes, and jumped the Bluetooth receiver and amplirider off the power outlet in the fairing. The problem is with the GPS running I get electrical noise in the headsets. Unplug the GPS and it goes away. I'm assuming the problem being the power for the amplirider and Bluetooth needs to be separated from the charger port. The question is can I steal a power wire from the cassette player to power them or do I need to install another relay from the battery and use the key acc to kick it in? The issue didn't start until I installed the amplirider. Both the amp and mic mutes are new, the rest I've had a while with no problem. Oh yeah it my 07 RSV Second question any ideas on a mount for the amplirider volume switch?

They both need lots of shiny expensive stuff.

We haven't had a good football program in several years now. I'm hoping they'll get back on track soon. Murray had the same history with football coaches years ago. Gottfried, Beamer, Zook and more. I don't know how we've attracted so many young coaches that go ahead with huge careers. My wife and oldest daughter are both alumni, pretty nice to have a local quality school. Campus is only 10 minutes from home.

I finally got to lay eyes on one yesterday in Nashville. Great looking bike, did set on it and raised off the stand, it balanced well. I messed around with it 20-30 minutes without a salesman so much as saying hi so we left. Wasn't looking to buy it but was shopping for gear for the wife, we went elsewhere. I'll look again in a few years after the kinks get worked out of them.

No I missed most of the game, listened to it on the bike while running errands. Got to see the first few minutes and the last 3 minutes (last 3 without sound). If one of ours did an intentional shot to the nuts then some level of sportsmanship is out the window and paybacks are expected. In all fairness since I didn't see the rest of the game I should not have mentioned it, sometimes paybacks are due and expected. I wasn't in the greatest of moods when I got home and did that, a guy up the road crossed in front of me in a one ton for what was probably the closest call I've ever had on a bike. Was pretty mad at the world at that time. But as an example in the OVC playoff game MSU was in a similar situation and dribbled out the play clock without trying to shoot, it is something I always like to see at all levels of sports. However as I said if paybacks are due then the gloves are off, sportsmanship has to go both ways. It's something I've strived for in coaching for years, give it all you got, play to win, do it respectfully, and with class. Right up until the opponent shows they don't deserve respect then pull out all stops. Never liked running up a score either unless it was a team that had done it to you in the past, paybacks are a B**ch but are effective. CONGRATS again to WVU definitely out played us.

Saw another bike on its side on the way to work.

I had probably the closest call I've ever had today. Going through a T intersection at highway speed guy crossed from the side road in front of me into a driveway in a flat bed truck. He actually came looking for me about 15 minutes later to apologize, said he saw me but for some reason thought I was gonna turn. Mid 50s in age, no phone, just a brain fart. Really had to fight the rear locking up. I do have to take some responsibility as my speed MIGHT have been a wee bit excessive. Even coming out of the skid the bike handled great so there is that. -
Gotta give Carter props. He shut Stark down, he's usually a deadeye 3 point shooter. They're definitely not used to that physical of a game, OVC refs call much tighter, they got out muscled. Gotta say I thought refs called an even game (what little I got to see) they let them play without calling little stuff. Only thing I thought was out of line was the 3 ball with 2 seconds left. Back in my coaching days if we had a good lead last few seconds no player was allowed to shoot. It's a sportsmanship/class thing to me. Congrats to WVU, good luck in the dance. I'll get the coffee brewing:beer:

There's one upset. Ready to see another.

I'm pretty persnickety about my high fallutin coffee myself. Folgers with good clean well water and keep the cream and sugar as far away as possible. Now you do understand I'm rooting for the underdogs so if we lose it's expected by most and no big deal, however if they win they're the heroes of the day. So I'm betting a cup of coffee against long odds but the bragging rights for an upset are far more valuable. No shame in losing to a better team but harder to take losing to a team most people never heard of. Not sure they'll :250:on your parade but it'll sure be enjoyable if they do.

Sounds like NTP needs to be plan A with a couple options if there's bad weather that way. Thanks for the input so far. More ideas are welcome also.

For a small OVC school MSU has a pretty rich basketball tradition. Several big school coaches started their head coaching careers here. Mick Cronin and Steve Prohm were the last two. Mark Gottfried was another and Houston Nutt coached football here before Arkansas and Mississippi. I don't believe we'll ever be a top NCAA school but it's fun for a small school. On another note my oldest starts U Kentucky med school this fall so I guess I'll have to support them some now.

I'll bet ya a cup of coffee and bragging rights payable at Don's MD.

They play best with a fast running game. Some really good 3 shooters. When they're on they're tough to keep up with, when they're off, well..........

That storm blew through here yesterday. Biggest snow flakes I've ever seen. Very wet and heavy, it sounded like we were driving through a rain storm.

You definitely have the advantage with the 5 seed vs our 12 but I learned never count em out. In 1988 MSU went in a 16 and took out No 1 NC State. They've knocked out a few upsets since then. Any given day who knows. We've also lost our share of head scratchers too. :confused24:

I had to replace the O ring on mine. Remove the screw from the side and pull plug out. Be ready for the detent ball and spring to fly away.

Hey Yammer Dan your WVU team is playing our MSU first round. Makes a lot of sense they're going all the way to California to do it.

Our local Murray State Racers are goin dancin!!!!:dancefool:

Got the new Commander II, Skydoc clutch upgrade, Mic-Mutes, and waiting for the Amplirider. Add all these to the Edsets splitter and Bluetooth receiver, do an oil change, carb synch, fluid check and we're ready to pack up and roll. Gonna wait until about time to roll out to choose the route, all depending on weather. Blue Ridge, Natchez, Alabama, Florida, Georgia? Who knows. Bet it's going to be fun. :7_6_3[1]:and hopefully none of this:mytruck:

I've let hay cutters cut my field in the past. I didn't get paid in cash but I saved time, gas, and the headache of mowing it. Just look at it as time and gas not spent on the tractor can be spent on two or three wheels. Having said that I don't have 13 acres, that much hay may bring in even more $$$$ for bike gas. They do the work, take the hay, and you don't break a sweat.
