Look on marketplace before you make an offer. A lot depends on whether you’re looking for a project or a bike to ride. I know it’s near no miles but low mileage 1st gen MKII (86-93) bikes are pretty available below 2k running. MKI’s have their following and are worth whatever you’re comfortable spending, MKII’s don’t have the 2nd gear or frame issues of the MKI. Both are an absolute blast to ride.

Remember to do the air line first. Not a hard job to do.

Concerned about long distance riding after the upcoming back surgery I decided to buy a trailer just in case. Decided I didn’t really like it so I sold it and built my own. You don’t see too many 10’ trailers with a dovetail and tandem axles but that’s what I wanted. Ramp gate folds flat on the dovetail out of the wind.

Got in 150 miles or so this morning with a local group.

I’d like to come up there sometime. We’ll be in Florida that week to see the daughter.

Hard to see in pic, the antenna lines up with your shelf track. Do you just need the section that attaches with Allen screws? I have one but haven’t tried to take it apart.

It should unscrew at the base. I’ll look at the set I have off a junk bike tomorrow but I seem to remember them being pretty rusty.

Miles don’t mean much on these machines. A regularly ridden and maintained bike is worth more to me than one that has sat for years. There’s one local to me, a 2008 with less than 7k miles on it that he’s having trouble selling. Retail price plus going through all the rubber is a lot of work.
