  1. Looks like I’m gonna end up in the Gainesville area May 13-17th, anyone down that way want to do some riding or a meet and eat. Weather permitting I’ll ride down.
  2. Congratulations, Hope it all works in your favor. Good luck.
  3. My phone number is in my profile for anyone who needs to contact me. If the number you call from isn’t in my contact list it will send you straight to voicemail. Either leave a message or shoot me a text so I can add you to my contacts.
  4. I get those a few times a year, I never open the email or click any links. If I’m questioning anything I log into PayPal to check my account.
  5. If you build it we will come!!!
  6. The Early American motel is next door to Fin and Feather for anyone still looking. All the links I posted earlier are very close by.
  7. Plan and post a get together and I’ll head that way😁😁😁. Even rode with y’all from Bongo’s place to Don’s so it wouldn’t be my first trip. I miss the WNY rallies.
  8. Great!!! I was talking to @skydoc_17 today about ways we could get y’all down here without having to drag you down with a log chain. 🤣🤣🤣
  9. Looking for “yeah we’re coming” not Eh. 🤣🤣🤣 Haven’t seen any of y’all since Covid.
  10. The wife and I rode a couple hundred miles today starting to map out a few rides for the rally. We’ll do some more rides in the coming weeks to get it narrowed down. This brings up the questions I need y’all’s input on. I mentioned earlier Hannigan Motorsports factory is here in our county and Boss Hoss is a couple hours away, both offer free tours but they need to be scheduled ahead. So the big question is if there’s interest in a tour or would you rather ride and fellowship more with other members? If I remember correctly I think the Hannigan tour was around two hours led by Dave Hannigan himself last time. If anybody living near the border could slip across and light a fire under some of them EH teamers and herd them this way it would be nice to see them again also.
  11. They were your idea anyway 🤣. I’ve got some pretty strong front dive after 80k on it. I started reading posts here thinking about progressives and found several posts by you and Rick Butler about the Sonics. I placed the order yesterday, when they get here I’m going to install them in a lower mileage set of Midnight forks from a parts bike I bought. Hopefully having the forks ready will make a quick job of pulling the fairing and swapping forks. I already have a hook in the ceiling to hang the inner from doing head bearings a couple years ago. I saved them with the idea of liking the chrome forks someday.
  12. Seems like every spring somebody posts a reminder to check fluids, tires, pressures etc. Handling on my bike seemed to get loose last fall, and I really didn’t look into it past tire condition and pressure, rode it last week and it didn’t ride well at all. I finally started looking at it and figured out 0psi in the left fork vs 6psi in the right makes it unhappy(bad Schrader valve core). I ordered new Sonic springs and fork oil to solve this problem permanently. Moral of the story: Don’t be complacent and do a better job pre tripping your bike than I’ve been doing. Easy to get lazy on a bike that rarely shows a problem.
  13. I was hoping you could make it but have a good trip up there. The New Hampshire/Maine area is one of the trips we hope to make someday. We’ve never been past west New York.
  14. @Marcarl you can come here in June. I have an 86 that’s been setting 6-7 years, you can practice working on it. It needs a carb cleaning and scrubbing to sell it.
  15. Fin and feather still has a few rooms/cabins left. I haven’t checked the others lately.
  16. I’m interested in the remote and possibly the cassette. Price?
  17. Those are cool. I’d buy a couple of the stainless if you want to do more.
  18. Awesome. Hope she loves it.
  19. Gotcha. I went through the whole fabrication thing on one and decided I had wasted my time since I use a hydraulic jack and the adapter.
  20. There are instructions somewhere here to do it. The downside to me was you can’t use a motorcycle jack with it installed so I took mine back off.
  21. Need 2 pics. One going up the road and one coming back after turning around.
  22. Does the handlebar remote work?
  23. Maybe you can swing through that little town in Ohio and wrangle that Bird guy on the Harley to come with you.
  24. Load it up and bring it down here in June for the rally. Ah forget that beer is cheaper here just bring the Eh Team with you.
  25. Installed saddlebag guards, yanked the side covers off to start a stator/regulator upgrade, put bearings and seals in the VMax pumpkin so I can get it back under the bike. I’ve been running the OEM pumpkin since Vogel.
