  1. Does it feel like the clutch isn’t releasing enough to shift or more of a mechanical issue? You can bleed the clutch master cylinder at the banjo bolt on the cylinder, air can get stuck there and not bleed out the slave bleeder. Second, look in the bottom of the reservoir and find the tiny hole in it and make sure it’s not clogged.
  2. Welcome to the group. You will get more feedback if you post this over in the watering hole. You won’t find a more helpful or welcoming group than this one. As far as the running of the V4 keep the carbs clean and good plugs in it along with normal maintenance and it will fire right up and go forever.
  3. I use my heel.
  4. Is it stiff to move? Lube it
  5. Let me guess, all those little dots on that route are ice cream stands.
  6. You just have to lean into your U-turns to keep em up.
  7. Mike Eykamp offers a swap or will rebuild yours if you don’t want to dive off in it.
  8. The electronic side of this is my weakest part. In my head (scary place to be) the switch controls power to the coils and the TCI controls the ground. If that’s correct and you have power to the coils it would point to the TCI and/or the connectors to it. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge will step in here.
  9. The proper pronunciation down here is “all y’all”.
  10. We’re gonna need some of y’all from the Eh team. Who else can we make fun of?
  11. Look in the read only tech section at the ignition bypass, that should give enough info to be able to check it without drilling it out. I installed the bypass relay and keep parts in my kit to totally bypass it if it dies on the road.
  12. Just ride it faster than that. 😁
  13. It’s only 8 hours @ 200 MPH. 😬😬😬
  14. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/topic/742-removing-the-carbs-from-the-rsv/?tab=comments#comment-6286 Here’s a link to pull the carbs. Are the cracks all the way through or just near the surface?
  15. Welcome to the nuthouse we call home. Great looking bike, Tons of fun and miles of smiles on built in it, all kinds of help here keeping em going.
  16. Welcome back.
  17. Yeah, he and Murph both left a big hole going out of business. Mic Mutes and the Bluestreak are two of my favorite mods and no longer available.
  18. But I’m young and impressionable. Gave in to peer pressure.
  19. There is an automotive thermostat that can interchange cheaper. Napa part # 455318. Part stores should be able to cross reference that. Way cheaper than $60.
  20. @dfitzbiz
  21. Heck with him, I’m still trying to figure out how my $12 has gotten so expensive. Between mods, maintenance, and rallies this place cost me a fortune. 🤣🤣🤣
  22. @skydoc_17 is the guy, look in member vendors.
  23. Everybody knows all the cool kids hang out here anyway.
