  1. My wife’s shoulder was extremely sore for a couple days, mine is barely sore at all. I was run down all day but I don’t know if it’s the shot or the heat. I’ve been out in it last few days.
  2. I got my first Maderna shot today. I like the last part, I’ll claim the city made me fat by forcing the shots on me. Think I’ll get a settlement? 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Yes it can wash down the cylinders, then the dreaded hydrolock 😱😱😱
  4. I’d check the oil for gas in it. The only time I use ethanol is when I’m on a long ride. I try to get my last fill up on a trip 130-150 miles from home and fill up with “good gas” when I get home.
  5. Ram X here too.
  6. I keep a Harbor Freight nitrile o-ring assorted box in the shop. Had good luck with them so far.
  7. We’ll I’m gonna have to do it. City just informed us we either take the needle or wear a mask at all times in the station. Nothing like a group of Alpha male firefighters running around with masks and whining like school girls.
  8. I would suck out all you can, clean the reservoir, and flush new fluid through the whole system. Make sure no fluid gets on the plastic body parts, wash immediately if it does. Brake fluid melts ABS plastic.
  9. She likes to remind me I’m not 25 anymore.
  10. I need to look at mine, I have the same front. I don’t want any issues on the Vogel trip.
  11. I agree. My daughters are 26 and 19, I worry about long term effects and possible child birth issues. My wife keeps reminding me I don’t have that long to worry about long term side effects on me. 🤷🤷🤷
  12. So far I haven’t taken the shots. I’m not a hard core antivaxer, just reluctant to use a rushed drug with little testing. My wife and oldest daughter took it with mild side effects (arm pain/flu symptoms) but ever time I consider getting it I see something like this. My youngest daughter and I are still holding out. I hope you get over it soon @larrydr
  13. Go to Lowe’s or a hardware store and get 1/4/20 nylon wing nuts. The metric thread will cut its own thread into the plastic and they won’t vibrate off like the originals. Very common problem. I’ve got 30,000 miles with the nylon wings and still have em.
  14. Thanks Vaz. Remind him for us he still has friends here, I miss his humor.
  15. I’ve seen some jumpered out of the opener and wired to the PTT button.
  16. I don’t know the part number but there is a thermostat widely used in Japanese cars that fits
  17. Those are the cabs. The air box clamps directly to the carb bodies.
  18. A shelter with plenty of parking overlooking KY Lake has been reserved. It has electricity, water, picnic tables fireplace, and yes bathrooms. We’re not planning any long rides but here is where we need opinions: Hannigan’s is a 30 minute ride, we can schedule a visit/tour if there is interest. There is an 1850’s Homeplace farm nearby for anyone not going to Hannigans. There are other sights nearby or forgo any rides other than food runs. Probably a Friday ride to supper/Saturday to breakfast. There is also dining at the park lodge. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/ https://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/seendo/attractions/homeplace/ https://parks.ky.gov/hardin/parks/resort/kenlake-state-resort-park https://www.pattis1880s.com/ (Possible supper option Friday)
  19. Sounds a lot like a Charlie Daniels song.
  20. You can try topping it off but you’ll probably have to bleed it too. Look for oil spots under the bike, the slave usually drips there.
  21. @videoarizonahave you heard from the Pucster? Kinda quiet around here without him stirring the pot.
  22. I can’t see in the pic about the rake but all Hannigan trikes have independent suspension.
  23. Check fluid level. The culprit is often a leaking slave cylinder. How old is the fluid? Old dark fluid needs to be flushed if present.
