  1. And that’s why we are where we are today.
  2. Be careful of that, check your local laws. When Hannigan introduced the HRT (Hannigan Reverse Trike) for the Goldwing they did a double conversion and had a lot of trouble, some states labeled it a passenger car since it had 4 tires so it had to meet safety regulations of a car. I don’t know how it ended up but he had a fight on his hands to build them. His first argument was all bikes with a bolt on trike kit have 4 tires.
  3. No matter what brand I ran I always wore out two rears to one front until I went darkside. Now it’s almost two fronts to one rear.

    armrests

Some jerk in KY built mine 🤣
  5. Well heck if that’s what made me maybe I need to bottle and sell it. Course since they raise cattle on that creek now I might need to go upstream a ways.
  6. If it got hot we stopped at the nearest house and drank from the hose. Nobody ran us off from that. Drank from the creeks too, no telling what was in that water. Maybe that’s why I have a strong immunity.
  7. GUILTY as charged. I had a rollover and ejected at 16, I suffered a broken back but without a doubt it would’ve been fatal had I stayed in the seat. The flip side of that is that I’ve cut a lot of people out of wrecks the last 20 years, I can name a few where a seatbelt did or would have saved lives and/or injuries. The number of lives saved outnumber by far the lives cost. However I still believe it’s a personal choice. I consistently wear a helmet, but on the way home from WNY last year I had to go without it due to heat sickness, glad I had the choice.
  8. I hope that means this is just a temporary setback and you’re on the way to good.
  9. You nailed it Bum. At 51 with no known underlying health issues I feel completely comfortable taking the risk of a virus that has a 1.4% mortality rate here (I don’t know if that compares nationally). Of that 1.4% every case where I knew the person they all had serious health issues before Covid. To me it’s about the rights and government overreach. I made the choice to vaccinate only because wearing a mask in a firehouse is a royal pain. I really believe this latest mask push is designed to drive up vaccine rates, they won/I lost !*#%*
  10. My wife’s shoulder was extremely sore for a couple days, mine is barely sore at all. I was run down all day but I don’t know if it’s the shot or the heat. I’ve been out in it last few days.
  11. I got my first Maderna shot today. I like the last part, I’ll claim the city made me fat by forcing the shots on me. Think I’ll get a settlement? 🤣🤣🤣
  12. Yes it can wash down the cylinders, then the dreaded hydrolock 😱😱😱
  13. I’d check the oil for gas in it. The only time I use ethanol is when I’m on a long ride. I try to get my last fill up on a trip 130-150 miles from home and fill up with “good gas” when I get home.
  14. Ram X here too.
  15. I keep a Harbor Freight nitrile o-ring assorted box in the shop. Had good luck with them so far.
  16. We’ll I’m gonna have to do it. City just informed us we either take the needle or wear a mask at all times in the station. Nothing like a group of Alpha male firefighters running around with masks and whining like school girls.
  17. I would suck out all you can, clean the reservoir, and flush new fluid through the whole system. Make sure no fluid gets on the plastic body parts, wash immediately if it does. Brake fluid melts ABS plastic.
  18. She likes to remind me I’m not 25 anymore.
  19. I need to look at mine, I have the same front. I don’t want any issues on the Vogel trip.
  20. I agree. My daughters are 26 and 19, I worry about long term effects and possible child birth issues. My wife keeps reminding me I don’t have that long to worry about long term side effects on me. 🤷🤷🤷
  21. So far I haven’t taken the shots. I’m not a hard core antivaxer, just reluctant to use a rushed drug with little testing. My wife and oldest daughter took it with mild side effects (arm pain/flu symptoms) but ever time I consider getting it I see something like this. My youngest daughter and I are still holding out. I hope you get over it soon @larrydr
  22. Go to Lowe’s or a hardware store and get 1/4/20 nylon wing nuts. The metric thread will cut its own thread into the plastic and they won’t vibrate off like the originals. Very common problem. I’ve got 30,000 miles with the nylon wings and still have em.
  23. Carl found a dead end????? Who’d a thunk it😁😁😁
  24. Thanks Vaz. Remind him for us he still has friends here, I miss his humor.
