  2. I don’t know, I didn’t read the whole law. What I saw is that they have annual inspections and it’s an automatic failure to have a car tire. My wife asked me the same question and my only answer is that we’ll find out if they stop me.
  3. Not starting the darkside argument but I just learned Virginia has outlawed car tires on motorcycles.
  4. You’ve piqued my curiosity. Let us know how it balances out. Maybe a betting pool, I’m guessing car backed on with bike behind it.
  5. Will they fit nose to tail in 21’? My RSV takes a 9’ trailer if it has a ramp gate to clear the body.
  6. Click forums and scroll down to”darksiders”. Lots of info there
  7. When I use ABS glue I put a large ABS patch on the back side. I buy sheets and heat gun it to mold to the shape, glue, and clamp it.

    Vogel 2025

Just booked our room at Season’s Inn. What time will you have the coffee on?
  10. We’re sorta considering the move to a trike before long. Ive never dropped the RSV, always been strong enough to catch it. Worried about the damage to me if I try to do that now.

    Vogel 2025

Paul they’re leaving out a big part of the info:FOOD. Lots of good eating and a nightly run to the ice cream stand. After all many refer to us as an eating club with a motorcycle disorder.
  12. It’s been several years since I had one apart and don’t remember but the parts diagram doesn’t show one.
  13. The wife hasn’t been on the bike since my surgery, gonna try it soon to make a decision about whether to go to Vogel this year. 150 miles has been my longest ride since being back on it.
  14. You can always change it out in the back yard of the air bnb at 1:00 a.m. right? 🤣🤣🤣
  15. I was in Florida when you posted this. Already sold by the time I got back.
  16. Congratulations. I did one in 2019, started and ended at a gas station 8 miles from home so 16 miles farther than the GPS showed. Never did send in the paperwork since the patch didn’t interest me since I don’t wear a vest. I was recovering from shoulder surgery and bored out of my mind not working so as soon as the therapist said I could ride I really rode. Probably the first and last time, I have done some 850 mile days since then.
  17. I’ve got 90k miles on the OEM and counting. If it fries I figure one more OEM will last the rest of my life, small investment for that many miles.
  18. I can supply you with an 86 if you want to try it. 🤣
  19. Did you get to see our Murray State Racers in Omaha this week? Little school making some big waves in college baseball.
  20. Have the carbs been synched? It will cause a vibration under load if they’re unequal.
  21. You would hear the relay if it was the starter. Possibilities off the top of my head: do you have an ignition bypass installed? Check that relay if so. ignition switch, sidestand switch, cables/wire connection clean and tight at the starter relay and battery.
  22. I scored a new one from Partzilla last year but I don’t think they have them anymore. Upholsterer probably the best bet now.
  23. Carb cleaning, check tank for rust, check/flush all fluids at a minimum. It all depends on the price and how much work you’re willing to do. Check date codes on the tires.
  24. Congratulations. Life will never be the same but it’s in a good way. My babies are 30 and 23.
